- Battery Russell - This historical landmark is one of nine batteries at Fort Stevens, operational for forty years from 1904 to 1944. Fort Stevens served for 84 years, from the Civil War through WWII. It is named after Bvt Major General David Russell, a Civil War veteran.
- Peter Iredale Shipwreck - The Peter Iredale was a four-masted steel bark that ran aground on October 25, 1906, on the Oregon coast while heading to the Columbia River. The ship was abandoned on Clatsop Spit near Fort Stevens in Warrenton, approximately four miles (6 km) south of the Columbia River channel. Today, the wreck remains visible and is a popular tourist spot, being one of the most accessible shipwrecks in the Graveyard of the Pacific.
