“A Delightful Experience - We combined a wine tasting with a picnic at Saio vineyards. Our hostess was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The wines were excellent, and there was only one other couple there for a tasting. Following the tasting, we received a map of the vineyards showing where each variety of grape was grown. We were able to walk through the vineyards up to a veranda overlooking Assisi. Our hostess brought us a delightful lunch with an extensive charcuterie board, bruschetta with olive oil, and the wine of our choice. It was a delightful experience. We were never rushed for time and were able to enjoy the vineyard. This is a side trip I would definitely recommend.
