• Pisgah National Forest - The group will drive from the meeting location to a spot chosen according to skill level, weather conditions, and preferences. The usual hike covers 3-5 miles, with a 45-minute drive each way. Depending on the schedule, there will be a 10-15 minute stop at a waterfall either before or after the hike.

The hike will cover 3-5 miles, depending on the group, with a stop at a waterfall and possibly a small lake to spot Bald Eagles.
