Later, head to Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant village known for its cultural diversity with over 120 tribes represented. Explore the local market, interact with artisans, and enjoy fresh fruits. Game Enroute to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, depart the lodge at 7:30 for Serengeti National Park with game viewing en route. Along the way, pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might be fortunate enough to spot wild animals like baboons, vervet monkeys, warthogs, and buffalo. As you enter the Serengeti, you’ll witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and the vast number of ungulates roaming the grassy plains. Drive straight to the camp for check-in and lunch. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in the park. In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, delve into the beauty of the Serengeti, one of Africa’s premier wildlife reserves. This full-day adventure is likely to be the highlight of your stay, as the wonders of the Serengeti unfold. Discover the park’s iconic creatures during the early morning game drive. If interested, you can opt for a balloon safari, which concludes with a champagne breakfast amidst the grasslands. Witness the Serengeti “Kopjes,” massive granite boulders amidst a sea of grass, providing shelter to a diverse array of flora and fauna. Return to the camp for lunch, then head out again for an afternoon game drive around 15:00. As dusk approaches, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch and head to Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the wildlife in the self-contained ecosystem of Ngorongoro Crater. This is a land of multiple uses where wild animals and humans coexist harmoniously. Descend more than 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed mountain believed to have eroded millions of years ago. Enjoy a game drive to search for various animals, including endangered black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, and large flocks of flamingos along Lake Magadi. Have lunch at one of the park’s picnic sites, then continue exploring other areas of the park for more game viewing opportunities. After this exciting game drive, ascend the crater and drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive Back to Arusha/Depart

Arusha - After breakfast at the lodge, savor your last moments in Northern Tanzania as you drive back to Arusha. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a school and learn more about education in Tanzania by spending time with the teachers and children. Arrive in Arusha in time for lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge. After lunch, enjoy the SHANGA Tour, a social enterprise that employs people with disabilities to create unique and high-quality handmade jewelry, glassware, and homewares using recycled materials. These products are sold in the Shanga shop in Tanzania and worldwide, with profits reinvested into creating more employment opportunities for people with disabilities. After the excursion, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
