Depart from your hotel at 8am to embark on a delightful journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full day of game viewing. Despite its modest size (205 sq. miles), the park offers breathtaking scenery and is renowned for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as a thriving population of baboons and blue monkeys. The park is also home to giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes. The lake hosts a significant number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are indescribable, and the game drives along the lake offer stunning photo opportunities with giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake as a backdrop. Additional tours are available, including a bike tour or a boat excursion. Return to the camp in the afternoon for dinner.

After an early breakfast, set off towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The drive, though lengthy, is spectacular and unforgettable for first-time visitors. As you venture deeper into the Serengeti, you’ll understand why its name means “endless plains” in the local language. The park spans 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km), with plains stretching to the horizon, challenging your senses and perception of distance. It is home to the Great Migration, with 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. For big cats and large predators, it’s the ideal place to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many famous river crossing scenes filmed here.

Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti to Ngorongoro
On this day, an early wake-up is recommended for a morning game drive when animals are most active, and to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises. After the game drive, return to the camp for a delightful brunch before proceeding to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater covers 102 sq. miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it a virtual Noah’s Ark, home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa. It’s one of the few places on the continent where you can see the black rhino. The crater features a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a high concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants, which are the largest in the world with enormous tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - Begin the day early and descend into the crater floor for an extraordinary morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near the picturesque hippo lake. Following lunch, there will be time for a short game drive before ascending the crater and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar around 4pm for three days of relaxation with breathtaking views.

Zanzibar
Relax and enjoy this paradise with its beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. It only spends one night in Serengeti, which we usually think it’s too little, but if your time-frame is short and you really want to visit this amazing park, then it is the right choice for you. After the safari, you can take some rest and enjoy this amazing Zanzibar island.
