Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park:

Lake Manyara National Park - Following breakfast, the journey will take you to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s smallest yet most diverse parks. The park features the expansive, shallow, and alkaline Lake Manyara, which seasonally hosts thousands of flamingos, creating a stunning pink spectacle. Additionally, over 500 bird species and a variety of mammals inhabit the park. Monkeys thrive in the forests, while giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests roam the grassy plains, and elephants and lions reside in the acacia woodlands. From the vehicle’s open roof, you can observe the wildlife and take in the scenery. After a thorough game drive and a picnic lunch, you will depart the park and head towards the cooler Ngorongoro highlands.

Cultural Heritage Centre - Situated in Arusha, Tanzania, the Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre offers a glimpse into the past and present of Tanzania’s 120-plus tribes within a single compound. The center showcases an array of carvings, gemstones, artifacts, clothing, and books.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Karatu Area:

Ngorongoro Crater - With an early start, the drive will lead into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and down into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater, nearly 600 meters deep and about 20 kilometers wide, is a vast caldera teeming with diverse wildlife. During the game drive, there is a chance to see a variety of mammals, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—as well as Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and mountain reedbucks. Spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs, and over 500 bird species may also be spotted. After enjoying a picnic lunch in the crater and further game viewing, the journey will continue back to Karatu in the afternoon, where another night will be spent at the same lodge.

Tarangire National Park – Drive Back to Arusha:

Tarangire National Park - Post-breakfast, the drive will proceed to Tarangire National Park. Known for its giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes, this park is a natural wonder. Tarangire is renowned as one of the premier locations to observe elephants up close. The park also hosts buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, often accompanied by predators like lions. While leopards are occasionally seen, cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the safari vehicle’s open roof, the landscape and wildlife can be fully appreciated. In the late afternoon, the park visit concludes with a drive back to Arusha, where accommodations will be arranged independently.
