• Arusha - The tour begins in Arusha town, where participants will receive lunch boxes before heading to Ngorongoro Crater.

Participants will descend 2000 feet, or over 600 meters, to the crater floor for a half-day tour. They will have the opportunity to explore forested areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, visit the lake area to possibly see flamingos, and traverse the open savannah where lions hunt.

Lunch will be enjoyed in the Crater at a picnic site offering stunning views of marshes filled with hippos and birds. Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World, and it’s easy to see why. The panorama here is truly breathtaking.

Ngorongoro Crater is a collapsed volcanic cone covering approximately 260 square kilometers, home to thousands of lions, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, and antelopes. After a delightful day experiencing the remarkable sights and sounds of this unique location, the tour departs Ngorongoro around 15:00 hrs, returning to Arusha by approximately 18:00 hrs, where participants will be dropped off at their hotel in Arusha city.
