GOSHENI IS THE BEST, FORGET THE REST! - We went on safari in Tanzania to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and thanks to George, it turned into one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. From the very beginning, George went above and beyond, not just as a guide, but as someone who genuinely cared about making our trip special. Once he found out we were celebrating our anniversary, he made sure that every lodge we stayed at knew. As a result, we were greeted with thoughtful, personal touches at each stop, from room decorations to special desserts, all of which made us feel incredibly appreciated. And then came the moment I’ll never forget. I had brought a ring as a gift for my wife, and George helped me create the perfect moment to give it to her. While we were exploring Ngorongoro, he scouted a stunning spot overlooking the crater, completely private and absolutely breathtaking. It was there that I gave her the ring. It was perfect, and I owe that moment entirely to his thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Beyond all this, George is simply an extraordinary guide. On just one day, we saw a pride of around 30 lions, a cheetah with two cubs, three male lions walking right on the road, and a leopard in a tree with its kill. And that was only one day out of eight, each filled with unforgettable sightings and stories. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, there wasn’t a single question we asked that he didn’t answer thoroughly, and he made each drive both informative and fun. He was always checking in to make sure we were happy with everything, both on the drives and at the lodges. By the end of the trip, it honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to a close friend or family member. If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, George is the person you want by your side. He made our anniversary truly magical, and we’ll always be grateful.

Wildlife, Warmth, and Wonder – Our Safari with George - We had the absolute pleasure of spending 8 days on safari in Tanzania with George as our guide, and we truly could not have asked for anyone better. From the moment we met him, we felt completely safe, well taken care of, and in expert hands. Just trust George, you’ll be in for the experience of a lifetime. He was incredibly knowledgeable, answering every single one of our (many!) questions with clarity, patience, and genuine passion for the wildlife and landscapes around us. He was always attentive, making sure we were comfortable, happy with the lodges, and getting the most out of every game drive. It honestly felt like we were traveling with family, that’s how much warmth and care he brings to the experience. And when it comes to sightings… wow. On just one single day, we saw a pride of around 30 lionesses and cubs, a cheetah with two cubs, three male lions walking on the trail, and a leopard up in a tree with its prey hanging beside it. That was just one day, so you can only imagine the kind of unforgettable wildlife encounters we had over the full 8 days! George was also a joy to talk to during our drives, always sharing insights, stories, and keeping the energy positive and exciting. Every evening, he’d give us a detailed summary of the next day’s plan and make sure we were fully satisfied with how things were going. We will truly miss him and are so grateful to have had him as our guide. If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, go with George. You won’t regret it.

Amazing honeymoon safari trip with fantastic William - This trip is our first time in Africa. Thank you to Eva for helping us plan the itinerary and hotel. My wife and I are very satisfied. William is an experienced, professional, and humorous tour guide. He is also a good driver and he is always on time. He would first ask us what we want to watch, and we said we definitely want to watch the Big Five hahaha. William has a very good eyesight and can easily find animals in the distance and small animals up close when driving. He tells us that if we have any ideas or want to stop and take photos, we should not hesitate to let him know. In the end, we also successfully saw what we wanted to see. This honeymoon trip was truly unforgettable, we took thousands of wonderful photos. We hope to come back to this land in the future. Asante William and Gosheni！ Hakuna Matata！

A short summer dream - Under the guidance of Mr. Calven Kileo from Gosheni, my mother and I embarked on a 9-day trip to Tanzania. The professional explanations throughout the trip, the rich knowledge of animals and plants, the delicious food, the magnificent scenery of nature, and the friendly service all created a wonderful memory. I forgot the troubles of daily life during the short journey, just like having a summer dream. I hope that next time we will have the opportunity to return to the Serengeti savannah to relive the beauty.

Amazing Honeymoon Safari - We cannot recommend this tour enough. From the moment we arrived our guide Francis was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making us feel at home in Tanzania. His expertise on the wildlife and plants was superb. Francis was able to use his knowledge of animal behaviour to help us in finding every animal we could possibly want to see, and even managed to time it so we were able to see multiple river crossings of the Wildabeest for the great migration. We also loved spending our evenings chatting with Francis back at camp, getting to know him and learn all about Tanzanzian culture. All of the accomodations we stayed in were great, especially the Acacia tented camps in the Serengeti. The staff at each accomodation were very helpful, warm and friendly. We also loved the food supplied, being a nice mix of local and western selections. Gosheni were very easy to deal with, especially as we had some issues with flights and arrived later than planned. Overall it made for a perfect honeymoon!

Overpromised and Underdelivered - This was our third trip to Africa, and unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of what was promised. Although we were fortunate to witness incredible wildlife moments—including a rare cheetah hunt—the safari did not fully deliver. The guide’s eco-consciousness was a positive aspect; he proactively picked up litter, which we appreciated. However, his communication and service were inconsistent. We expected engaging commentary about animal behavior and local culture, but he often seemed distracted—spending significant time talking with others or on his phone—which limited meaningful interaction. Moreover, his driving left much to be desired: the vehicle got stuck in mud four times in just two days, even though it was the dry season. Accommodation was another letdown. The Enkutoto migration camp had a strong smell of paint, making it uncomfortable. Communication between the tour operator and the lodge was inefficient—the responses we received were vague, and issues were not resolved satisfactorily.Staff at other lodges（melia） were excellent—professional and welcoming—which only highlighted the inconsistency. Crucially, the experience did not match how the tour was marketed, and certainly not what we expected given the cost. We recommend that the local operator invest more in guide training, ensure higher and more consistent service standards, and improve coordination with lodging partners. If you’re considering this company, we advise comparing multiple operators to ensure value for money and a truly memorable safari.
