Arusha National Park - Experience a thrilling safari game drive in Arusha National Park, home to Mount Meru, alkaline lakes, and a haven for bird enthusiasts. Arusha National Park, one of the smaller parks in the northern circuit, is situated at the base of Mount Meru in Arusha. This stunning park is renowned for the rare black and white Colobus monkey, often spotted here. These graceful creatures are a sight to behold as they swing through the trees with their long arms and striking black and white fur. The park features mountainous regions, rainforests, and lakes, making it a paradise for bird watchers, with many tropical species rarely seen elsewhere, such as the Greater flamingo and the Silvery-cheeked hornbill.

Manyara Region - The next day is dedicated to relaxation. You can unwind by the pool with a cocktail, visit our spa, or choose from a wide range of additional excursions available in the Lake Manyara area. Options include visiting a traditional Maasai Boma, embarking on a mountain bike tour through the farms and village of Mto Wa Mbu, exploring the Maasai market, or taking a tuktuk tour of the village of Mto Wa Mbu, among many others!

Lake Manyara National Park - Delight in a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, which offers a diverse ecological landscape in a compact area. The lake’s alkaline soda attracts a remarkable number of birds that thrive on its waters. Over 400 species have been identified, with the thousands of flamingoes being a highlight. From the park’s entrance, the road meanders through a groundwater forest where baboon troops can be seen along the roadside and in the trees. On the grassy lake shores, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, and large buffalo graze peacefully. The mahogany and acacia trees are home to the famous tree-climbing lions, and with some luck, you might spot them lounging on a tree branch.

Full Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Enjoy a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, famously known as the home of elephants. Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti National Park and is an enjoyable and accessible park to explore. The abundant wildlife is easily visible due to the park’s compact and open terrain, allowing for close and distant viewing. Covering 2,850 square kilometers, it is the sixth-largest park in Tanzania. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, which can be observed up close. Other animals commonly seen include wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, gazelle, warthog, impala, python, lion, leopard, and over 50 bird species.

150 Corners Route - Karatu (Optional Activities)

Karatu - Today, enjoy a scenic drive up the escarpment (the 150 corners road) en route to Karatu. Upon arriving at Africa Safari Karatu in the afternoon, you can relax or book an additional tour, such as a coffee farm tour or a visit to the Hadzabe tribe, one of Africa’s oldest tribes!
