Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your driver guide will pick you up for your journey to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is among the largest parks in Tanzania, situated in the Manyara region. It is famous for its large elephant herds, tree-climbing lions, and the intriguing baobab trees, which are believed to possess mythical powers by some local cultures. The Tarangire River runs through the park year-round, serving as the sole water source for wildlife during the dry season.
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro Highlands and stopping to visit the Olduvai Museum. Arrive at the Seronera Area for a picnic lunch.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in central Serengeti National Park, arguably the greatest park on earth. This world-renowned park spans over 14,000 sq. km and boasts the largest concentration of big cats globally, including cheetahs, lions, leopards, and wild cats.
The Serengeti features diverse landscapes: savannah with vast plains to the south, hills and woods to the west, the kopjes area to the east, and bushland to the north. Important rivers such as the Seronera, Banagi, and Grumeti flow through the park.
During game drives, you can spot various mammals, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelopes. Hippos and crocodiles are also present. Dinner and overnight stay in the Serengeti.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive following the Great Migration trails. Our knowledgeable driver tour guide will share fascinating insights about this renowned event, making Tanzania the premier safari destination in Africa.
The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to approximately 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles, which join the wildebeest in their quest for fresh grazing. Experience the thrilling sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains, just as you imagined Africa to be!
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (NCCA), one of the world’s largest volcanic craters. This park features rolling plains, lakes, craters, mountains, and dormant volcanoes. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. This is the ideal location to see the endangered black rhino, with fewer than 800 remaining in the wild. You will also encounter pink flamingos in the lake and many other animals.
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is located west of Arusha in Tanzania’s crater highlands. The area is named after the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The breathtaking landscape of Ngorongoro, with its expansive highland plains and abundant wildlife, makes it one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth.
In the afternoon, return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
