Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your driver guide will pick you up for your journey to Tarangire National Park. This is one of Tanzania’s largest parks, located in the Manyara region. It is famous for its large elephant herds, tree-climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees, which are believed to have mythical powers by some local cultures. You will also have the opportunity to see the “Big Four” and many other wildlife species such as zebras and giraffes. The Tarangire River, which flows year-round, is the only water source for animals during the dry season.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. Enjoy a game drive en route through Ngorongoro and a late game drive in Serengeti. The Serengeti is renowned for its incredible wildlife, breathtaking views, and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. Witness the survival of the fittest as these animals navigate crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest will give birth to more than 8,000 calves daily before embarking on their 1,000 km (600 mile) journey again. You will have the chance to see them in Serengeti.

Ngorongoro Crater - Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater area for a game drive, where you can see all of the “Big Five.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is located west of Arusha in Tanzania’s crater highlands. Named after the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera, this area is often referred to as the “Garden of Eden.” The breathtaking landscape of Ngorongoro, with its vast highland plains and abundant wildlife, makes it one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth.
Day 6: Lake Manyara Game Drive to Arusha
Lake Manyara - In the morning, after breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a picturesque lake that led Ernest Hemingway to declare it “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” This park offers a compact game-viewing circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two-thirds of the park, with the Great Rift Valley wall as its backdrop. Over 400 bird species can be found in Manyara, including thousands of pink-hued flamingos. In the evening, the journey back to town will begin.
