Very informative and engaging! - The perfect way to end our trip! I did this tour on the last leg of my trip in Arusha, right after coming off summitting Kilimanjaro, and it was honestly the ideal way to wind down and actually connect with the city before heading home. We hit local markets, a few cultural and historical spots, and got to try some street food along the way, all of which felt totally authentic, not touristy. The markets alone were worth it: chaotic, colorful, and full of life. The real highlight though was our guide, Honest. He’s currently in college working toward becoming a safari guide, and his passion for it comes through in every interaction. He clearly loves what he does, and that energy is contagious, he made the whole tour feel personal and genuinely engaging. If you’re coming through Arusha for Kili or a safari, don’t just treat it as a stopover. Do this tour. It gave me a real appreciation for the city that I would’ve completely missed otherwise.

Great tour! - Honest was a great tour guide. We learned a lot about Tanzanian history and explored Arusha thoroughly.  The art gallery was our first stop and we were given plenty of time to look around, although the volume of art is overwhelming.  It is the largest fine art gallery in Africa. We met the owner who gave us an overview of tanzanite, which was very interesting.  After, we visited some historic sites and a few markets. The food and spice market was amazing! At the end of the tour Honest recommended a restaurant for us. Overall great tour and great service.

Informative interesting Arusha city tour - It was an excellent tour. Very organised and informative. Gave me insight into the history of the country. Interesting story about the Tansanite history. The walk in the market was great, seeing all these exotic fruits and varieties of spices Honest ( the tour guide) was excellent. He was well informed, professional and friendly.

Like having a family member show you around town! - What a charming young man! Clearly he’s passionate about his country and his city. His knowledge of the history and cool out of the way spaces made our tour extra special. Honest was kind enough to meet our group at the hotel to modify the tour to meet our groups unique needs and interest.

Not organized well this tour and very boring experience - The tour supposed to start at 9 at the meeting point where it's hard to get there by public transportation and depends on where you are from meeting point, you will probably pay more for transportation than a costs for the tour, I paid $12 for about 6KM away (that's not a deal) I was waiting for 45 minutes and then someone around come to pick me up at Arusha clock tower which I get bothering with many people come to ask me for business. After late the late guide come and told me the bus was late that's why he late picking up, he's not good at English too. The tour was too short and because most the place we went is the shopping areas and not the tour that said in the itinerary, he can't provide enough information for the area. He's not the agent who offer the tour and he sent someone else who make more business. All area you will go is someone trying to sell you something and something are really begging which is make us very uncomfortable, sorry we do not remember the name of the guide. I don't recommend this tour and I learned to be careful next time for kind of this tour to pick the right agent.
