Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha
Arusha - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, representatives will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Settle into your accommodation, unwind, and acclimate to the African ambiance in preparation for your safari adventure starting the next morning. This hotel stay includes bed and breakfast, as you will likely arrive late in the evening.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park and Afternoon Game Drive
Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park for an afternoon guided game drive. As one of Tanzania’s lesser-known parks, it retains an authentic safari atmosphere. The hilly landscape adorned with majestic Baobab trees against the blue sky is stunning. Witness the world’s largest concentration of elephants, with herds of up to 300 elephants seen around the Tarangire River, drinking or enjoying a mud bath. Besides elephants, Tarangire is a haven for bird enthusiasts. After lunch, continue with game drives, exploring areas around swamps where lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even tree-climbing pythons can be spotted.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, you’ll journey towards Serengeti National Park via the picturesque high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you’ll descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. You’ll head to the central park area known as the Seronera area, one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats. It features the Seronera River, providing a vital water source that attracts a diverse range of Serengeti species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive
Serengeti National Park - Continue your safari in Serengeti National Park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park Guided Game Drive and Return to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park - In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel to begin your safari to Lake Manyara National Park. Established in 1960, this small park is home to tree-climbing lions, elephants, and large troops of baboons and monkeys. The park is dominated by the shallow, alkaline lake and features diverse habitats such as grassy plains, escarpment, and forest. Later, return to Arusha.

Day 7: Flight to Kigali and Drive to Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda - The journey from Arusha to Kigali and onward to Volcanoes National Park offers a seamless transition from Tanzania to Rwanda’s lush landscapes. After a scenic flight, travelers arrive in Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital known for its clean streets and bustling markets. From there, a picturesque drive takes adventurers through rolling hills and verdant countryside to the majestic Volcanoes National Park. Along the way, anticipation builds as visitors prepare for unforgettable gorilla trekking adventures amidst the mist-covered slopes of the Virunga Mountains.

Gorilla Trekking Experience
Volcanoes National Park - After an early morning breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the park headquarters, Kinigi, for a briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas from the park warden. Equipped with trekking gear, drinking water, and a packed lunch, you’ll be dropped off at the starting point to trek the gorillas with ranger guides. This activity may take between 1-8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. However, encountering them is incredibly rewarding, and you’ll spend up to 1 hour observing and photographing them. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Kigali City for Airport Drop-Off
Kigali - Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before embarking on a 4-hour drive back to Kigali City, with an en-route visit to Nyanza King’s Palace, Rwanda National Museum in Huye, and Murambi Genocide Museum. Upon arrival in Kigali, explore craft shops and the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Have lunch and then be transferred to the airport for your return flight to your next destination.
