Kilimanjaro - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by the transfer driver and escorted to the Mvuli Hotel, conveniently located near Arusha. The remainder of the day is free for relaxation or exploration—guests can unwind by the hotel pool or take a taxi to discover the town of Arusha. In the late afternoon, a member of the Kilimanjaro team will meet with guests to provide a briefing on the upcoming trek. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Mvuli Hotel.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Guests will be picked up at 8:30 AM from their hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. As Tanzania’s third-largest national park, it is renowned for its magnificent baobab trees that tower over the animals grazing beneath them. The Tarangire River is the heart of this park, famous for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Visitors may also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras. After the game drive, guests will return to their camp or lodge where a delightful dinner awaits.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti Hippo Pool - Following a hearty breakfast, guests will journey towards Serengeti National Park, traveling through the vast, endless grasslands. The Serengeti is arguably the world’s most impressive wildlife sanctuary. An afternoon game drive offers the chance to witness the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, or perhaps a pride of lions resting in the shade. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the day-long game drive. The eventful day concludes with a satisfying dinner and a restful night at the accommodation.

Full day in Serengeti

Serengeti Hippo Pool - The full-day game drive begins at 8 AM after a nourishing breakfast, exploring the central region of Serengeti National Park. This legendary park is the most famous safari destination due to its incredible lion and leopard populations. The central Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, is one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats. It features the Seronera River, a vital water source that attracts a diverse array of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s species. During the off-season migration, visitors should look out for the many lion prides thriving in this region. The interactions and survival of these prides offer an excellent game viewing experience year-round. With a picnic lunch during the full-day game drive, the day concludes around 5 PM. The long day ends with a hearty dinner and a restful night at the accommodation.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, guests will descend to the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. Expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many birds. Birds in the area include eagles, vultures, flamingos in the Crater Lake, storks, bats, giant vultures, sacred ibis, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, long-necked herons, and cattle eagles. After a picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, guests will begin a steep ascent to the crater’s top exit. With a 2-hour drive remaining to the accommodation in Karatu, the day will conclude. A freshly prepared delicious dinner will be ready at the chosen accommodation.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Lake Manyara - The final day of the safari begins at 8:00 AM after a sumptuous breakfast. Today’s destination is Arusha via Manyara National Park, where a half-day game drive awaits. Entering the park by 9 AM, the lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees set the mood for the adventure ahead. The game drive continues until mid-afternoon, with a break for a picnic lunch. During the drive, watch for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. A highlight of Lake Manyara National Park is the tree-climbing lions, though spotting them is a matter of luck. In the right season, the shoreline may turn pink with millions of flamingos. By mid-afternoon, guests will head towards Arusha, arriving at their preferred location by about 6 PM. With incredible experiences and cherished memories, it’s time to bid farewell to the team.
