Pickup + City Tour

Arusha Region - This is where the journey begins. After receiving your flight details, the operator will arrange for airport pickup and transport to Arusha. Upon arrival, a city tour will be provided, allowing you to explore local attractions such as the Cultural Heritage Center, Kilombero Vegetable & Food Market, Maasai Market, Clock Tower, Mwenge Tower, and other notable city sites.

Arusha City to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - At 7:30 AM, following an early breakfast, the guide and jeep will be ready by 7:40 AM for departure to Tarangire National Park. The drive to the park’s gate takes approximately 2.5 hours, so the game drive will commence around 10 AM. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population and the mini migration during the dry season, where 2,500-3,000 animals enter the park for the Tarangire River. The park’s vegetation includes acacia woodlands, aquatic forests, and baobab trees. Expect to see many elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. At 1 PM, enjoy lunch at a picnic site and continue the game drive until late afternoon, exiting the park at 4 PM to head to your lodge.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, between 9-10 AM, you’ll depart for Serengeti via Ngorongoro. Arrival at the Serengeti Gate is expected around 1-2 PM. After lunch, embark on a half-day game drive in Serengeti, home to wild cats and dogs. Animals you might spot include cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and lions. In the evening, a chef will prepare a fresh hot dinner. Overnight stay at Seronera Public Campsite.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then embark on a sunrise game drive to further explore Serengeti. This day offers another opportunity to witness the diverse wildlife, and with luck, you might see a predator in action. Lunch is scheduled around 1-2 PM, followed by a game drive en route to Ngorongoro, exiting Serengeti. Overnight at Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Lake Manyara National Park

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Start with an early breakfast at Simba Campsite at 7 AM. At 8:30 AM, you’ll be picked up for an early game drive descending into the crater. Enjoy a minimum of 6 hours of game driving in a four-wheel pop-up safari jeep in Ngorongoro. Lunch will be at a picnic site at 1 PM. At 4 PM, begin exiting the crater, heading to Fig Big Tree for dinner and an overnight stay.

The park’s fertile volcanic soil supports diverse habitats. “Lake Makat” (soda lake) is home to various bird species. Ngorongoro is the only park in Tanzania where you can potentially see the Big 5 in a single day. The park is also known for Maasai families living in circular homesteads called Bomas. It is a significant site for understanding early human evolution, pioneered by Mary and Louis Leakey. Wildlife you might see includes wildebeest, gazelles, golden jackals, bat-eared foxes, hippopotamuses, East African wild dogs, African leopards, ungulates, waterbucks, buffaloes, elands, and servals. Giraffes, oribis, topis, spotted hyenas, African leopards, cheetahs, and impalas are rarely seen.

Lake Manyara to Arusha National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast at 7:30 AM, depart for Lake Manyara to explore the wildlife. The park is famous for tree-climbing lions, similar to those in Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda. It remains green year-round, with two-thirds covered by a lake. Tree species include acacia, baobab, doum, and umbrella trees. The park features acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, forested areas, flood zones, and the rocky escarpment of the Rift Valley. Common animals include elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and numerous birds around the lake area. Lunch is at 1 PM at a picnic site inside the park, followed by a game drive until 4 PM, when you’ll exit the park and return to Arusha City.

Arusha National Park + Drop Off

Arusha National Park - Depart at 7:30 AM for a game drive to explore Arusha National Park. Although the park is only 552 square kilometers, it offers much to see, including Serengeti Ndogo (Little Serengeti), Uwanja wa Mbogo (Buffalo Glade), Ngurdoto and Meru Craters, Tululusia Hill (lookout point), Lake Momella & Longil, Fig-Arch Tree, and Ngarenanyuki River.

In Arusha National Park, you can enjoy game drives, walking safaris, cycling, canoeing, and horse riding. On this day, a game drive and walking safari will be offered, or you may choose two activities from the list. The guide will ensure you visit all key locations in the park to enhance your experience.

Lunch is at 1 PM at a picnic site, followed by a game drive until 4 PM, when you’ll exit the park and head back to the airport for your flight.
