Arusha - Upon arrival at the airport, a representative from Lion King will greet you and transport you to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Following breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2-hour journey. Tarangire is renowned for its elephant herds, savannah, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the vital Tarangire River. Wildlife gathers at the river, and you can often spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. The park also hosts buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests, which are closely followed by predators like lions and leopards. From the open roof of the vehicle, you can take in the scenery and observe the wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, featuring a delightful meal, coffee, and soft drinks.

After a full day in the park, you will travel to your accommodation to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park.

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera. It spans nearly 20 km in width, is approximately 600 m deep, and is famous for its diverse wildlife. Besides the Big Five, the various springs attract animals like wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 bird species.
After lunch, you will continue to the Serengeti. The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s largest park, featuring diverse landscapes and habitats, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains.

Serengeti to Karatu

Serengeti National Park - Enjoy another early breakfast before embarking on your game drive around 6:30 a.m., spending 6-7 hours exploring this remarkable park. The Serengeti is home to a wealth of wildlife, such as impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos, but is most famous for its massive migrating herds of zebras and wildebeests. The animals’ migration is dictated by rainfall and varies annually. In addition to the migrating herds, you might spot predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions. Around 2:00 p.m., you will head back to Karatu, arriving in time for dinner.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha.

Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this extraordinary safari - Lake Manyara National Park. This relatively small yet diverse park is located 120 km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake that covers a significant portion of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. During your exploration of the park, you will encounter monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and, with some luck, lions resting in the trees. The park is known for its varied landscapes, including open grassy plains, primate-filled woodlands, and baobab-dotted cliffs. After lunch, you will return to Arusha.
