Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - The driver will collect guests from their hotel at 8 am for a journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its varied landscape featuring nine distinct vegetation zones. The park is especially famous for its numerous Ancient Baobab trees, the largest on the continent, which dominate the scenery and make the animals appear small in comparison.

The park’s river teems with wildlife, including a wide array of birds, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and notably, elephants. It boasts the highest concentration of elephants in the country, offering exceptional opportunities to observe elephant family interactions. The lunch area is captivating, with an observatory providing stunning views of the river and wildlife, and the possibility of witnessing a hunt during a picnic.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues with a game drive, and later in the evening, the driver will transport guests to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following an early breakfast, guests will depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Although the drive is lengthy, it is breathtaking.

This experience is unforgettable for first-time visitors. As the journey progresses into the Serengeti, the reason behind its name, meaning “endless plains” in the local language, becomes clear. The park spans 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km), with plains stretching to the horizon, challenging one’s senses and perception of distance.

It is home to the Great Migration, featuring 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. For those interested in Big Cats and large predators, it is the ideal location to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many famous television scenes, such as river crossings, filmed here.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - On this day, an early wake-up is recommended for a morning game drive when animals are most active, and to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises.

After the game drive, guests will return to the camp for a delightful brunch before proceeding to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater covers 102 sq. miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, resembling Noah’s ark and housing nearly every species native to East Africa. It is one of the few places on the continent where the black rhino can be seen.

The crater features a river, swamps, a soda lake with a high concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It is also renowned for its elephants, the largest in the world, with enormous tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - The day begins early with a descent into the crater floor for an extraordinary morning of wildlife viewing in one of the planet’s most breathtaking locations.

With a dense animal population of around 25,000, the crater offers the finest game viewing in all of Tanzania’s parks. Within minutes, visitors can see wildebeest, eland, lions, zebras, gazelles, elephants, blue monkeys, and some of the over 500 bird species in the area. With some luck, the endangered black rhino might also be spotted.

After the game drive, a picnic lunch will be enjoyed near the picturesque hippo lake. Following lunch, a short game drive will take place before ascending the crater and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, guests will embark on a scenic journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive.

The park is renowned for its stunning scenery, lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as a thriving population of baboons and blue monkeys. It is also home to giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, wildebeests, common warthogs, and more.

The landscapes of Lake Manyara are indescribable, and the game drives along the lake offer breathtaking photo opportunities.

After a fulfilling day in the park, guests will return to Arusha.
