Enjoy a picnic lunch followed by a game drive in the heart of the park. Expect to see herds of elephants ranging from 10 to 30. Keep an eye on the treetops for a chance to spot a leopard. You may also encounter buffalo, impala, zebras, warthogs, giraffes, and more. Explore the park until late evening, then head to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, pack all camping gear into your safari jeep. Depart the camp for Serengeti via Manyara, traveling through the Rift Valley escarpments towards Serengeti National Park. You have the option to visit a Masai village on your way. Arrive in Serengeti by evening and enjoy an evening game drive towards Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Crater - Rise early at 6 am and enjoy a hot cup of coffee before leaving the campsite for morning game viewing in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise, but remember to wear warm clothes as it can be chilly. Continue the game drive until midday, then return to camp for a full breakfast and lunch, or “brunch.” Later, depart the camp for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game drive en route to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - On the final day of your Tanzania Safari, after breakfast, take a short drive to the descending gate and journey down to the crater floor, 650 meters deep, for a half-day crater tour. If fortunate, you may see a rhinoceros. The crater is home to several permanent resident animals due to its year-round water supply, allowing animals to stay or move freely. Ascend the crater rim, return to camp for lunch, and then drive back to Arusha. This marks the end of your memorable 4-day Tanzania Camping Safari.
