Tarangire National Park - At 8:00 am, the operator will pick up guests for a journey to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately two and a half hours from Arusha. Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - At 8:00 am, the operator will pick up guests for a journey to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately two and a half hours from Arusha. This park is renowned for its elephants, big cats such as lions and cheetahs, as well as impalas, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of birds. The Tarangire River is vital for the wildlife residing in the park, providing them with essential drinking water. From July to October, many animals can be found near the river, making it an ideal time to witness the wildebeest’s local migrations within the park.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast at 7:00 am, guests will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often referred to as the Garden of Eden, where the local Maasai people coexist with wildlife. The tour descends 600 meters to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game drives, exploring over 2,500 species of flora and fauna, including the endangered black rhino. Lions are easily spotted, along with hippos, impalas, zebras, hyenas, jackals, and aquatic birds on Lake Magadi. In the late afternoon, guests will enjoy a packed lunch at Ngoitok Kitok hot spring, overlooking hippos, before slowly heading back to Eileen’s Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay. Lake Manyara Park
Lake Manyara National Park - At 8:00 am, the tour departs for Lake Manyara Park, home to tree-climbing lions, flocks of flamingos, baboons, monkeys, hippos, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and more. Visitors will explore the hot natural spring and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Manyara. A packed lunch will be provided while taking in the stunning scenery. In the late afternoon, the tour will gradually return to Arusha for an overnight stay or continue to Kilimanjaro Airport for an international flight home.
