Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following a safari briefing, the journey begins towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highland farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As the highlands fade away, the adventure descends into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - where endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see.

The route leads to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, renowned for its rich wildlife habitats. The Seronera River flows through this region, providing a crucial water source that attracts a diverse array of wildlife, representing most of the Serengeti’s species.

Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives in the park, with lunch at the lodge or campsite.

The park’s vast plains are home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, the wildebeest migration, eland, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and many more. Additionally, a variety of birds enhance the park with their vibrant sounds.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - Start the day with an early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive. Then, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game drive along the way.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, descend into the crater for a game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas globally, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.

With a year-round water supply and ample fodder, the crater supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. A major attraction of this stunning national park is its large population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor.

In the late afternoon, return to Arusha.

This is a 4-day safari tour package to Serengeti & Ngorongoro. The itinerary plans for 2 overnight stays in Serengeti and 1 in either Ngorongoro or Karatu. Accommodations are provided in Lodge & Tented Camps featuring self-contained rooms with hot showers. All dietary needs are catered for, with meals included for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The safari, available on a private basis for a minimum of 2 people per reservation, operates daily all year round.
