Tarangire National Park - In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel, marking the start of the journey to Tarangire National Park. This park, with its vast tree savanna and seasonal marshes, is home to the largest elephant herd in Northern Tanzania, boasting over 4,000 elephants. Visitors can also spot giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, gnus, and various antelopes and gazelles. Upon arrival, the driver will provide a service with an open-roof jeep to explore the wildlife and capture stunning photographs. Later, guests will enjoy a picnic lunch and continue to explore the park’s abundant wildlife. Accommodation is within the park, allowing for a leisurely experience without the need to rush.
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, guests will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the gate, the safari guide will provide an explanation and an opportunity to take photos before entering the park. Visitors will stop at a viewpoint for more information and photos before descending into the crater. Inside the world’s largest caldera, a variety of wildlife can be seen, including black rhinos, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, lions, leopards, elephants, and mountain reedbucks in the forested slopes. Buffaloes, spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs, and over 500 bird species may also be observed. After an exciting game drive and picnic lunch, guests will leave the caldera in the afternoon and return to their accommodation.
Lake Manyara to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, the journey from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park begins. This unspoiled paradise is renowned for its rich birdlife and tree-climbing lions. The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the park’s western boundary, while the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara lies to the east. The lake, which floods and dries with the seasons, hosts thousands of flamingos during the rainy season. The name Manyara is derived from the Maasai word ‘emanyara,’ a plant used to build protective enclosures around family homesteads. The park’s vegetation ranges from savannah to evergreen forest. During the exploration, visitors may see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and elephants. The park also features a popular hot spring, with water warmed by volcanic activity flowing from the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara Park. In the afternoon, the safari guide will drive guests to their next destination.
