Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Spanning nearly 3,000 square kilometers, Tarangire National Park is renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which flows through it. During the dry season (June - November), the park becomes particularly impressive as wildlife congregations rival those of the Serengeti, with large numbers of elephants and other animals drawn to the river as their sole water source. With diverse habitats and the constant presence of water in the Tarangire River, the park hosts over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species.

Full Day at Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - Following breakfast, embark on a game tour within the crater. Later, proceed to Octagon Lodge for an overnight stay. Drinking water will be provided daily for each person.

Often referred to as the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken crater globally. Approximately 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, causing its walls to collapse. The volcano’s floor subsided, forming a natural enclosure with 600-meter-high walls. Now, spanning over 19 kilometers in width, the Ngorongoro Crater is home to vast areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These varied habitats support over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, remarkable birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest.
