Arrival Day (Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport)
Arusha - Our taxi driver will meet you at the airport and take you to the chosen hotel in Serengeti for relaxing and dinner. Day 1 depends entirely on your arrival time; if you arrive early enough, the taxi driver can take you on a city and cultural tour around Arusha. The drive to Serengeti takes 7-8 hours and goes via Ngorongoro conservation area, known as “The Garden of Eden”. As you crest the hillside, spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti.
You will have dinner at the hotel and get some rest, ready for an early start for the safari the following morning.
Full Day Safari at Serengeti National Park (Day 1)
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up for a quick briefing before driving for a full day game drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti mean “endless plains” in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and Thomson’s gazelles.
Full Day Safari at Serengeti National Park (Day 2)
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast at the hotel, you will have another full day game drive around Serengeti National Park. The taxi driver will then take you back to Arusha (the airport or your hotel there).
