1. Aruba Aloe Factory Museum and Store
Royal Aruba Aloe is a renowned company in Aruba that grows and manufactures aloe-based products. It also features its own aloe museum. A tour of the museum and factory offers insights into the aloe production process in Aruba, along with a 160-year history of aloe cultivation on the island.
2. Casibari Rock Formations
The Casibari Rock Formations consist of massive tonalite boulders located in a residential area, just off the main road to Santa Cruz. Walking trails and steps through the boulders allow visitors to reach the top for stunning 360-degree views.
3. California Lighthouse
Known locally as Faro, the California Lighthouse stands prominently on a limestone plateau at Hudishibana, near Arashi Beach and the Sasariwichi dunes on Aruba’s northwestern tip. It is recognized as the tallest structure in Aruba.
4. Natural Bridge Aruba
The Aruba Natural Bridge was one of the island’s most famous landmarks until it collapsed on September 2, 2005. Formed over millennia by the Caribbean surf’s relentless pounding against coral limestone, it was once the largest natural bridge in the Caribbean, spanning 100 feet and rising 25 feet above the sea. Despite the main arch’s collapse, the site remains a popular attraction. Visitors can still see the large sections of the fallen bridge and the dramatic rock formations that once supported it. Baby Bridge: Adjacent to the original site is the Baby Natural Bridge, a smaller yet intact limestone arch that remains a favorite photo spot.
5. Arashi Beach
Arashi Beach is a white-sand beach located at the northern tip of Aruba, celebrated for its calm, clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and family outings. Situated just beyond Malmok and on the road to the California Lighthouse, it offers shade huts, a beach bar, and public parking. Popular activities include snorkeling, sunbathing, and sunset watching, with the best snorkeling near the rocks on the beach’s left side.
6. Eagle Beach
Eagle Beach is the widest beach in Aruba, featuring pristine soft white sand and clear, calm turquoise waters. It is home to the famous Fofoti trees, iconic to Aruba and a popular photo opportunity. Eagle Beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and various water sports. It is also a protected nesting area for sea turtles. The beach is often described as spacious and relaxing, even when busy, and offers a mix of public access and private resort areas.
