The Citadelle Gin Distillery is located at Bonbonnet, 16130 Ars. When you arrive, you'll pass a sign “Château de Bonbonnet, Distillerie Citadelle”, and can park in the parking lot behind it, on the right. Then ring the “Visitor Center” bell at the grey gates opposite the parking lot.

Group visit - Absolutely tip top tour of this magnificent distillerie by our English/French group (17 of us). Emma was a great host and talked us through the gin process as we visited the distillerie and orangerie. We finished with a delicious tasting - which was a big success by the number of purchases that were made in the shop! Highly recommended- cheers Emma!

Birthday Visit - We arrived not knowing anything about making gin and left wanting to give it a go! Emma was great at sharing her knowledge and passion of gin and answered all questions no matter how daft some must have sounded. Thanks for sharing your passion and giving us a fantastic day.

Beautiful visit - We made the booking really easily and found our way out to Citadelle Distillery. In all, it was a group of 8, and Emma was brilliant at talking us through the history, and the processes. The purchasing of several items was rather easy in the colourful boutique! It feels like a business and tour that will keep adding and growing to what you can experience here. Perhaps a small restaurant to soak up some of the gins that were tasted, and a cocktail book with all the gins incorporated. A best seller!

The passion of GIN - Emma, our guide, was really passionate. She explained clearly the elaboration of gin, followed by a superb tasting of four gins – to be enjoyed, of course, in moderation! An experience to write in your diaries! Many thanks to Emma for her kindness, her pedagogy and her communicative passion. Thanks to her, we had a great time, as informative as it was friendly.

Great couple of hours out. - What a great couple of hours, Emma was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable, the tour is very reasonable priced and was enjoyed by everyone. The gin and glasses we purchased was also very reasonably priced, all in all a great visit and would recommend to anyone.

Couldn’t recommend this more! - Excellent experience! The team at Citadelle couldn’t have been friendlier, more welcoming or more knowledgeable. An incredibly insightful tour with the opportunity to try great gins to round off the tour too. A beautifully presented Chateau both inside and out.

Gin amongst the Cognac Vines - Our guide Emma, was very well informed, we learnt the history.of the Chateau and the vision behind the brand. Opening a Gin Distillery in Cognac country was very risky! We really enjoyed the tour the tasting was brilliant, a variety of flavoured and natural Gins with different mixers. As a staunch Vodka drinker I may now be a convert!! We will be adding this to our regular visits when our guests arrive.

Delicious Citadelle Gin tasting! - What a great experience! We tasted several different gins, each with their own distinct flavor. Very informative and fun. We were able to purchase our favorites after the tasting. Hope to go back!
