Over 60 kilometers of our route runs along the Sevan coastline. We will drive by the lake, and upon request, we can stop for photos or to admire the view.

• Noratus Cemetery - A Highlighted Destination:

Noratus Cemetery is the largest collection of ancient Armenian khachkars, which translates to “cross stones.” These are cross sculptures that are an integral part of Armenian religious tradition. This site is particularly fascinating for those interested in culture.

• Selim Caravanserai - A Highlighted Destination:

Selim is a medieval caravanserai located in the mountains of the Vayots Dzor region. It was constructed along the Silk Road that traversed Armenia, serving as a refuge for caravans traveling between China and Europe.

On the way to Noravank Monastery, we will pass through the breathtaking Noravank Gorge, also known as Bird’s Gorge. This stunning gorge is lined with vertical cliffs that rise alongside the road. It is a popular spot for rock climbers who come to test their skills and enjoy the natural beauty.

The final stop of the Standard tour package is the Noravank Monastery, nestled among the red rocks of the Vayots Dzor region. This magnificent church draws hundreds of tourists daily with its charm.

Bird’s Cave is the oldest known winery in the world today. It is an archaeological site located near the village of Areni, a hub for Armenian wine production. The world’s oldest shoe was discovered in this cave.

Upon request, we can visit the Areni Wine Factory. Here, visitors can not only observe the winemaking process but also participate in a wine tasting.

Khor Virap is the most visited landmark in Armenia. Situated near Mount Ararat, it offers not only historical significance but also a stunning viewpoint with a beautiful view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.
