• Lake Sevan - Lake Sevan is the largest lake in Armenia and the Caucasus region. It ranks among the largest freshwater high-altitude (alpine) lakes in Eurasia. Located in Gegharkunik Province, it sits at an elevation of 1,900 meters above sea level. The lake’s colors and shades vary with the weather and its own mysterious processes, ranging from a brilliant azure to deep blue and countless shades in between.
• Monastery Sevanavank - Sevanavank Monastery is a monastic complex situated on a peninsula on the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan. Originally, the monastery was constructed on the southern shore of a small island. Following the artificial draining of Lake Sevan, initiated during Joseph Stalin’s era, the water level dropped by about 20 meters, turning the island into a peninsula. An inscription in one of the churches indicates that the Sevanavank Monastery was established in 874 by Princess Mariam, daughter of Ashot I (who became king a decade later). At that time, Armenia was still striving to liberate itself from Arab rule.
• Haghartsin Monastery - Haghartsin Monastery is a 13th-century monastery located near the town of Dilijan in the Tavush Province of Armenia. Constructed between the 10th and 13th centuries (notably in the 12th century under Khachatur of Taron), much of it was built under the patronage of the Bagratuni Dynasty.
• Sharambeyan Street - Dilijan Old Town features a quaint, historic street with traditional Armenian wooden balconies, stone houses, art shops, and cozy cafés. It offers a serene setting for walking, photography, and experiencing the cultural essence of Dilijan.
• Lake Parz - Lake Parz is a small, scenic forest lake surrounded by lush greenery in Dilijan National Park. Renowned for its tranquil waters and serene atmosphere, it is an ideal location for leisurely walks, boating, and enjoying nature.
• Goshavank Monastery - Goshavank Monastery is a 12th–13th century Armenian monastery located near Dilijan. Nestled among forested mountains, it is celebrated for its intricate stone carvings, tranquil ambiance, and exquisite khachkars (cross-stones), making it a peaceful and cultural destination in northern Armenia.
