Love this tour! - Loved our experience with this tour. A great way to see the sights with the drivers sharing history and knowledge of the area. Fun drivers, very easy to get on and off at the various stops. This is a great way to experience all new cities!

More than 1/2 the stops we could not get to - We bought tickets on line. When we got there more than 1/2 the stops were not accessible. Washington had closed roads for a protest. There was no refund for the missing stops. Buyer beware.

Check what is happening... - Check what is happening in the city first. Many of our stops were canceled due to the parade happening the next day.

Wast of MONEY!!! - Seriously was so excited about this and it really was a waste of money. And really they SCAMMED me!! They sold me a 21 stop ticket knowing full well that on Memorial Day Arlington would NOT be running the trolley as well as some of the landmarks were supposedly unreachable. They drive by the ones that were reachable so quickly you can't even get a photo of the landmark, total waste of money! The young lady driving our 1st trolley was more concerned about keeping your arms in the windows, no talking, no vaping then telling us about DC, the 2nd driver was much better. Being the first time in DC I didn't realize how walkable it is, you're better off paying an Uber if you want to go in between two landmarks that are too far to walk, its much cheaper and most likely your Uber driver will have just as much info about the landmarks... When we started our Hop On Hop Off That was supposed to stop at the Wharf where we were staying (so we were told you can start anywhere on the tour so we figured starting where we were staying) but it didn't go/come to the Wharf so we had to pay for an Uber to go to Union Station which cost us another $13 + tip and the trolley never went back to the wharf area so another Uber back to the hotel, crazy! Then because it was Memorial day and the president was at Arlington that was a bust with no trolley going to Arlington, did I say total waste of money. And the fact that the company knew this and still took my money says a lot!! Highly recommend you save the money or go with a different company... They tell you it's guaranteed but then you have to jump through hoops, ridiculous.

Not as expected - There was an event and only 4 of the 15 stops were available. I have requested a refund but they are still reviewing. Not much to review! Stops were not available!

Avoid parade days - Check to see if their are parades or street closures. We didn't know that we would only see 3 of the 21 stops until we got on the trolley

Don't waste your money! - This was the worst tour I have ever taken. Paid for 21 stops only got 4 and was stranded, in the rain, at the Lincoln Memorial pick up stop for our return to the visitors center in downtown DC. Had to finally call after waiting an hour, and at 1st was told there were no more trolleys running since it was after 5 even though we were at the location around 4:10 and was told by the Arlington Tour bus driver that the last pickup was at 4:40. The operator at the local tour office at 1st said we have to find our own way back and I went off on her, sorry not sorry. She finally put me on hold and came back and said they were sending another trolley then hung up on me!! When we finally got back to our hotel I called the # for TrolleyTours.com since they guarentee a 100% customer satisfaction or you can get a full refund. When I called and told them of our horrible experience and wanted a refund they told me since I booked through a 3rd party, Viator, they have to refund me and transferred me to them. And now after telling our experience for the 2nd time I am now trying to deal with Viator, who seems to be reluctant, to get my refund. This was the worst experience and I will NEVER use TrolleyTours or Viator for any future tours.

Ripped Off - Ridiculous! Paid forw 21 stops plus Arlington for 4 …278$! No warning whatsoever and trolley is only stopping at 4 stops. No refund offered. I’m limited mobility with a cast on my leg in addition. Would NEVER recommend this company. Family traveling in today and leaving tomorrow.

Most stops closed - We booked the night before online. There were no warnings that over half of the stops were closed due to the Pride Event taking place the next day. We took the metro to Union Station to start at number 1. When we arrived we were told only stops 13, 14, 8, 9 and 10 were open along with the extra Arlington tour that we booked. First stop was 13. Got off and explored, walked to stop 14 and couldn’t find it. We gave up and made our way back to Union Station on our own. We wanted to see the Smithsonian. Driver told us quickest walk would be from stop 13. So we hopped for the second time and rode to the first stop, 13. We walked all of the other stops. We never made it to stop 10 in time to get the shuttle to Arlington because of the lack of hop on and off stops and the extra walking required to see everything on the itinerary. No sorry or offer of help to make the most of our trip. We have used company in many other cities and loved it, which is why we chose it. I understand that they don’t control street closures, but they need to at least offer us a refund when we arrive and find out the tour is pretty much useless.

Scammed - We paid for 21 stops, got there and only had 4 available due to construction. No warnings at all. Just "oh well".
