A moving experience. - We arrived and were immediately able to get on a bus/tram that takes you about the cemetery. It is massive and quite easy to get confused where you are so the tram is a good idea. The guide pointed out various things and explained about the uniqueness of this cemetery. You could get off at various places and walk yourself or hop back on but beware the queues were very long to get back on.We managed to catch the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier which was very busy. The whole cemetery is very moving and still remains a working cemetery.

Helps reduce walking in this large cemetery - The cemetery is very large, so we signed up for their tram tour to reduce our walking. The tram tour costs $21, takes you around the cemetery, and includes a guide who provides information about what you're looking at. The tram is a hop-off and hop-on format, so you can spend time at various sites and then rejoin the next tram.

Moving experience - Be prepared for rain; bring a towel, etc to dry the seats in the event of rain. Make sure you tour Arlington House.

Beautiful Place - My Son and I went to Arlington National Cemetery and we had a wonderful time. It was very peaceful and the Hop On/Hop Off tour is a must. It was worth the $22 I spent to tour Arlington. ARLINGTON is a very very HUGE cemetery.

It was an amazing... - It was an amazing experience to see the sacrifices made for this country. It made me proud that all those brave men and women are remembered and not to be forgotten. It was a moving experience and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and the grounds were very well maintained.

Hard to hear on trolley and doesn’t keep to times on website - Trolleys have muffled loudspeakers so sometimes difficult to understand Charles who was great. Doesn’t run as long as website says s

Very long lines to board shuttles - We had to wait in very long lines of huge groups to get on the shuttles. They only run every 20 minutes so you have to wait 2-3 shuttles at least to find room on one. For someone who has a hard time standing this is not doable. Sometimes waiting a good 40 minutes to catch the next shuttle.
