Convenient - recommend - It's hilly and covers a huge area, also steps. Saved a lot of walking. for us - 2 seniors but we are in good shape! Recommend. Spoke with woman who did walking tour and she said she would advise trolley!

Beautiful and moving place to visit - Visiting the Arlington National Cemetery is a must do for a trip to DC. I highly recommend riding the tram through the cemetery. It is such a large space and in the heat of summer it is a much more comfortable experience. The tram tacks you by all the notable places and you can hop off and on at your own pace. The drivers also offer a lot of knowledge about the cemetery.

Great Experience - Even with the record temperatures the staff was great. They ensured that people were staying in the shade when possible

Interesting Tour! - Even on the hop on/hop off tour, you should plan on walking a lot! But, a wonderful experience and a wealth of information!

Arlington is impressive! - We enjoyed the Arlington Hop on/Hop off to navigate the cemetery. The Changing of the Guard was a highlight and never disappoints! Our first narrator, Keith was outstanding but we were on for a short time with him before getting off. Our second tour guide was not good and we got lots of personal info and missed seeing certain sights we paid to see. Riding the tram is still the best way to see everything but just know your narrator may be questionable.

Positive experience - It was good. Trams ran regularly. Beautiful visit. Only minor issue is the tram only made three stops and we thought it made a lot more. Would don’t again bc the place is huge and it would be a LOT of walking.

Worth it. - Long line at each stop. Sometimes hard to hear the tour guide. Not always clear where to go or where to catch the next tram. But still worth it, since Arlington is so big.

Definitely the way to see the important sites - spoilt by incomprehensible guide. - The trolley bus tour of Arlington was a comfortable and convenient way as a tourist to get around the important sites of note. The cemetery is huge and this offered us a good 1 hr trip around the highlights. Unfortunately our guide spoke too fast and it was virtually impossible most of the time to understand the narrative. It would have been helpful too for the trolley to slow down when approaching points of interest- we almost got whiplash turning to see the fourth headstone back on the third row as the driver sped fast. Slow it down a bit and provide a slower paced narration and this would have been so much better.

Need to have more trams. - It was very hot when we went, and our feet were very tired from walking DC the day before so we decided on the tram. There supposed to be 6 or 7 stops. We only got 3. I had really wanted the kids to see Iwo Jima, so that was disappointing. They dont tell you this until you are on the tram. They don’t have enough trams. You can wait in the heat for over 30 minutes to reload at each stop. They also take a ridiculous amount of time loading each tram. Because of this we couldn’t even see everything we wanted to. One of our guides spoke like had marbles in his mouth. Definite improvements could be made.
