Indeed, this is the most comprehensive day tour of the Grand Canyon you can find! Besides the stunning vistas of the Grand Canyon, you’ll also witness the lava fields from Arizona’s latest volcano eruption, age-old Native American remains, and wide-ranging views of the Painted Desert. During the journey, you’ll navigate some of the most picturesque routes in the state and pause at a traditional Navajo trading outpost.
- Dress code is casual, layers are suggested for fall, winter and spring months
- HOTEL INFORMATION REQUIRED 72 HOURS PRIOR TO TOUR DATE
- Departs Sedona 7-7:30am and returns approximately 6:00-6:30 pm. (Duration 11 hours)
- Departs Flagstaff 8-8:30am and returns approximately 5:00-5:30 pm. (Duration 9 hours)
- Nonresident Fee Notice: Non-U.S. residents aged 16 and older will be charged an additional $100 USD per person when visiting select national parks. This fee is in addition to the standard park entrance fee and you will need to contact the Tour Company directly and provide your credit card to be processed prior to the tour date. Please bring a valid photo ID for residency verification.

Amazing day, worth every penny, wonderful guide. Highly recommend! - Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) had the best day on this tour. We appreciated the comfort, flexibility, regular bathroom stops, and insider photo vantage points that this private tour offers. As first time visitors, we wanted to remove the stress of navigating and see/learn about the Grand Canyon together. The stops along the way made this tour even more special. It is a long day, but leaving early and being some of the first people at Wupatki was totally worth it. Such a beautiful and reverent place, and we had it mostly to ourselves. We also LOVED driving through the Sunset Crater area and seeing the incredible volcanic formations. Cameron Trading Post was delightful, with great food and amazing treasures made by native artisans. Our guide, Rasa, was knowledgeable, professional, and thoughtful. He helped our younger child, who is afraid of heights, feel comfortable the whole time we were around the Canyon. He also took us just slightly off the beaten path for wonderful photos in front of the Canyon, without throngs of people in the background. The other guides kept stopping him to wish him well, and to tell us we had the best guide. We didn't disagree! In response to another review, Rasa did talk a lot, but he consistently checked in with us to ask if we wanted him to continue or if we needed a break. He was so interesting and such a wealth of local knowledge that we didn't want him to stop! My entire family would wholeheartedly recommend Rasa and this tour company.

Worth doing - Our tour guide, Burton, was awesome. He was attentive to our family's interests and took time to answer questions and tell stories. Trivia was fun too.

Best Day Ever - Our trip was fantastic! Our tour guide, Cat, picked us up at our resort in Sedona then continued on to get 3 other clients in Flagstaff. We started as strangers and finished as friends. Cat was so knowledgeable as we drove thru the Grand Canyon. We had plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the beauty. Cat took the time to get to know us all. I highly recommend this tour and our wonderful guide Cat Miller.

Great tour and great guide to experience the Grand Canyon and area. - We are so glad that we booked this trip. Rasa was a great guide. He was punctual picking up our group of 8. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with detail and humor. Lunch at the Cameron Trading Post was delicious. The stops along the way were informative and enjoyable. Rasa made sure we had enough time at each stop and that we knew exactly where and how to get the most out of each stop. We would highly recommend this tour and Rasa as your tour guide. It was an excellent value for the experience.

Great tour! - This trip was great! Our guide, Brian, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the history and geology of the area. He was a lot of fun and enjoyed answering everyone’s questions. The Grand Canyon is, of course, breathtaking and we had multiple viewpoints to see it from. The pace of the tour was also good. We had enough time at each location and never sat for too long between stops. I highly recommend this tour!

Great experience - Great experience. The stops at the grand canyon were amazing and allowed you to see multiple different viewpoints. We even got to hike down into the canyon. The Pueblo was really cool to see also. Tour had multiple stops which gave a nice overview. Steve our guide was knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations at our stops

The very best of a day st the Grand Canyon - Our driver Brian masterfully guided 8 guests on a 10+ hour trip to the Grand Canyon. He patiently explained the logistics of the day but more importantly gave us valuable information regarding the historical, cultural and scientific aspects of what we saw. First time to Grand Canyon - We had a great experience-we were picked up at our hotel in Sedona, had a private tour from Sedona to Flagstaff to pick up the other passengers. 6 total people on the tour with us, our guide Steve was very nice and knowledgeable
