The zipline and views were worth it! - I’ve seen a lot of mediocre reviews for Grand Canyon West and I don’t agree. The $100 full access ticket is absolutely worth it if you can take advantage of the zip line , food voucher and gift shop voucher. If you can’t take advantage of those things, it is excessive . If you can’t make it all the way to the actual center of Grand Canyon National Park, these views are amazing and the shuttle to the different areas is great. We were here about 16 years ago and it was wonderful to see how much they’re developed and improved the area. The glass skywalk was awesome. My husband and boys did the zipline and said it was great. Very smooth, the hardest part is climbing to platform with your cable attachment. After touring, we had lunch at the sky view cafe. Our server was super polite and our food service was incredibly quick. The food was pretty good and hit the spot after touring in the heat. We were pleasantly surprised and happy with our visit!

Amazing views. - Views are amazing. Beautiful scenery. Only down fall is that restaurants close at 5:30. Staff at the lookout spots could be a bit friendlier.

Offer content - All very well except that we had to have discount on the food in sky view and the attendant told us that there was no discount. They should make sure to talk to the facilities and better orient the employees I could have given 5 but for that detail not.

Too much overpriced with hardly anything to do - Very bad not worth the amount you spend. For person 111$, to see the nature and natural wonder which is usually less , there were onky two views. The zipline at 2pm told us they are full, so could not enjoy that, the food was just fries with a meal which is overpriced to 28$ then 10$ off, i mean who eats $28 fries. Then the bus driver at 4 pm told us we are dropping everyone back since its almost sundown and nothing to do now when it is supposed to be open till sundown. Lastly, just for guano point and skywalk its 111$ , guys I would say better book a bus tour to south rim

price gouging - I was overcharged for the experience and was not able to partake in all of the experiences offered. I arrived at Grand Canyon West around 1:30 pm and was told I had to purchase the experience in one package of over $100.00 which would include the zipline experience. I was told that if I arrived at the zipline by 4:30 pm I would be able to do the experience. When I arrived at the zipline at 4:00 I was told that the zipline was closed for the day. There was no offer of a refund for the services that were not rendered. I feel that this is experience is grossly overpriced. And you do not have the option to only partake in a portion of the experience as was advertised on their website the week before. That being said, most of the staff was understanding when complaints were lodged, I also feel I was lied to by some of the staff.

Lower your expectations - We purchased Zipline tickets from the website prior to our visit. The day of our trip, we learned that the tickets were an "add-on" to the admission ticket and we had to pay approximately $113 each for admission to the park. The signs in the lobby stated that the minimum weight to ride the zipline was 90 pounds. While on the bus going to the zipline location, we were told that the weight was raised to 140 pounds. When we arrived to check in, I weighed in at 130 pounds and was told I couldn't go on the zipline and there are no refunds. We had no prior warning and we were just out the money we spent for the tickets. As I was leaving the building, there was a new group arriving to check in for the zipline. The person checking peoe in announced that the weight limit was now 165 pounds minimum or you cannot ride. No refunds! This was a very disappointing experience and we will not recommend this location to anyone. Most of the employees we encountered that day were very unpleasant and rude. Before you go, check all the little details and rules to save yourself headaches and money!

Exploitation, not conservation. - Absolutely appalled. After driving over 2.5 hours to the Grand Canyon West Rim, we were blindsided by a mandatory $110-per-person fee that went into effect 4 days ago. no option for basic entry, no warning signs, just a price tag slapped on a natural landmark. You’re not paying for the Skywalk or zipline individually anymore—it’s all bundled into one overpriced “experience” whether you want it or not. Let’s be clear: this is not a National Park; it’s a privately operated site by the Hualapai Tribe, and they’ve turned one of the world’s most stunning natural features into a full-on theme park. You’re forced to pay for meals, merchandise credits, and activities many people may not even want, just for the right to stand near the rim and look out. This is not conservation. This is exploitation. Visitors should be warned: this is no longer a spontaneous, affordable stop to enjoy nature—it’s a cash grab disguised as an “all-inclusive package.” Skip this stop unless you’re okay with being taken advantage of.

terrible - A very terrible experience. I was taking the shuttle bus from Eagle Point to the main entrance. Since I was standing near the middle door, I stepped off temporarily at the Gunna Point stop to make room for people getting off and waited by the door. To my surprise, the female driver spoke to me very rudely, insisting that I had to get off and rejoin the line at Gunna Point. I was genuinely shocked by her attitude. Encountering something like this during a trip was very disheartening. I do not recommend this attraction to international visitors like myself. Traveling all this way only to be yelled at is simply not worth it.

West Rim is Expensive.. - I don't recommend doing this visit. You have to pay $99 plus tax. Only option . They call it a package deal. Not able to see anything Unless you pay 😔

Less then thrilled - As someone who went years back it was incredible. I drove right up to the west rim near sky walk and then to Guona point. Now you have to park, take a bus, pay for that or you can’t see the canyon at that point. The old Indian village used to be incredible and now it’s in disrepair. We drove ourselves and were forced to buy the bus pass or not see it after driving from Las Vegas. The Indians have made it a full on money grab. The bus ticket didn’t include the sky walk and that was extra. No use of a veterans National park card that I have for disabled veterans to enter parks for free. So I fought for our country and now must pay someone to get into one of the seven wonders of the world? Sorry less than happy with what they did to an area that was amazing. I purchased zero after the bus ticket because of what they have done. I usually support the areas and Indians but they already screwed is on the forced bus ticket. Made for a really bad experience.
