A Journey into the Heart of Kefalonia

As a marine biologist, my travels often take me to the world’s most stunning aquatic destinations, but the allure of Kefalonia was something I couldn’t resist. The promise of exploring the Melissani Lake and Drogarati Cave, coupled with a swim at the renowned Myrtos Beach, was too tempting to pass up. I embarked on this adventure with a sense of excitement, eager to uncover the hidden gems of this Greek island.

Our journey began with a visit to the Drogarati Cave, a geological marvel that left me in awe. The cave, discovered 300 years ago, is a testament to nature’s artistry, with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites creating a surreal landscape.
