- Iguazu Falls - Begin the journey from the hotel with a guide, heading to the currency exchange office to purchase Argentine currency needed for entry into the Argentine National Park. A stop at customs is required for passengers to pass through Brazilian customs (for foreigners) and then Argentine Customs (for everyone).
Once the tour commences, a train departs every 30 minutes to the upper section of the falls. The first stop is the most traditional point, followed by a bus or van ride through the park to the starting point of the trails and walkways. At the end of the trail, visitors will encounter the Garganta do Diabo, the largest waterfall in the park.
The time spent in the National Park includes the following attractions on this tour:
- Garganta do Diabo - The largest waterfall in the park. Garganta do Diabo features a 2080-meter footbridge that provides access to one of the most stunning natural spectacles on earth.
After pausing to take in the surrounding nature and landscape, begin the second part of the tour, known as Circuito Superior. Upon reaching the top, visitors can view all the high points of the park. On a sunny day, a beautiful rainbow can be seen. There are six observatories and spaces to relax and enjoy the view.
- Paseo del Yacaratiá - The Gran Aventura combines the essence of the Iguazú National Park: the jungle and the waterfalls in a single route.
From the Operations Center (bottom) or the Visitors Center (top), enter the forest along the narrow Yacaratiá path in units designed for this environment. Bilingual guides (Spanish and English) will help interpret the natural and cultural treasures of the area. This 5 km vehicular route ends at the base of the Macuco Port jungle.
- Iguazu River - After descending 100 meters, reach the pier to board a boat that travels 6 km from the falls and descends the Iguassu River, enjoying the fast-flowing waterfalls.
Visitors will reach the base of the Three Musketeers Jumping and see the Brazilian and Argentine jumps, with the Devil’s Throat crowning the canyon view. The peak of excitement is reached at the incomparable San Martin falls, the second largest, where a boat can approach. After visiting these jumps, sail downstream 6 km, including 2 km of rapids, to dock at the Porto Macuco pier. From there, climb over 150 feet of steep stairs to the Macuco stop. Return via a land vehicle on the Yacaratiá trail to the offices near the Old Cataratas Hotel where the tour concludes. Passengers will then return to the bus for drop-off at their respective hotels.
