This activity takes place in one of the most arid areas at the edge of the Atacama Desert. Just a few hours’ drive southwest from Arequipa, there are dunes formed by the expansive desert between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

Everyone is invited to enjoy an incredible experience sandboarding down various well-formed sand dunes nestled between rocky hills. This exhilarating downhill challenge on the dunes lasts for 2 hours, offering the best spots for fun videos and stunning photos of the vast desert, which resembles a colorful Martian landscape.

This adventure also includes 4x4 navigation over the diverse steep dunes, thanks to the off-roading expertise of our drivers.

The sandboarding adventure will be done on the dunes located between arid hills, which look as moon surface, makes unique and unforgettable desert adventure.
The tour is available for beginners and experienced sandboarders, thanks to diverse routes and difficulties of dunes that’s require going up and down from 3m to 120m high. Also, you can choose the inclination of the dunes to practice the 3 styles of sandboarding supported by our filed staff.
