Arequipa-Chivay-Cabanaconde

Chivay - The tour kicks off with hotel pick-ups between 07:00 and 7:30 am. We will then head to the Colca Valley, reaching the town of Chivay after a 3-hour journey, where we will pause for lunch.

Hot Springs Chacapi - Next, we will enjoy a relaxing 90-minute soak in the thermal baths.

San Miguel Viewpoint - We will then proceed to the town of Cabanaconde, stopping at the Pampa de San Miguel to admire the town of Tapay and the impressive depth of the Colca Canyon.

Cabanaconde - After taking in the views, we will visit the Juanita Mummy Museum in the San Miguel Pampa to explore the fascinating remains of the Cabana Culture. We will then arrive at our accommodation and settle in.

Mirador Achachiua - Once settled, we will visit the renowned Mirador de Achachihua to appreciate the breathtaking depth of the Colca Canyon, enjoy the fresh air, and observe the local flora and fauna. We will return to the hotel for dinner and prepare our essential luggage for the next day’s descent into the Canyon.

Cabanaconde-San Juan de Chuccho- Sangalle Oasis

San Juan de Chuccho - We will start the day early with breakfast, leaving our luggage at the hotel store. Our hike to the Canyon begins from the San Miguel Pampa, and after 3 hours, we will arrive in San Juan for lunch and a rest before continuing the tour.

Oasis Sangalle - Post-lunch in San Juan, we will embark on a 3-hour walk through Cosñirhua and Malata, eventually reaching the Sangalle Oasis. Here, we can unwind in the warm pool waters, enjoy a bonfire, and spend the night.

Sangalle-Cabanaconde

Cabanaconde - Coordinating with the guide, we will rise early at 04:00 AM to start the 3.5-hour hike back to Cabanaconde. Breakfast will be served on a terrace with a view of the town. We will then collect our baggage and return to Chivay.

Mirador Antahuilque - On the way to Chivay, we will stop in various towns, including this viewpoint, to admire the pre-Inca agricultural terraces of the Colca Valley.

Yanque - Another stop will be in the town of Yanque for a delightful buffet lunch.

Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve - After lunch in Yanque, we will head towards Arequipa, pausing to observe llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas.

Mirador de los Andes - Our final stop will be here to view the three volcanoes: Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu.
