Great trip, great guide - We did the 2 day Colca canyon trip, starting in Arequipa and finishing in Puno. We had a fantastic time - the scenery was amazing, the short walks were beautiful and we saw lots of llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and condors - as well as a guanaco. What made the tour especially good was our guide, Jessica who made the tour really fun and went the extra mile for all the guests. Our driver was also great. All in all I would highly recommend.

Wonderful trip to Colca Canyon with Giardino tours - We booked two days and one night Colca Canyon plus trip from Arequipa ,peru directly through Giardino tous and it was really a wonderful experience .I would give its credit to our lovely guide perhaps Ms Jessica for being so patient ,cheerful and always helpful to everyone to make this trip all the more memorable . They took us to nice places for lunches with good options for vegetarians also. We were taken to many beautiful view points and some hikes. Driver was also very nice. Thanks . Only minus point was that the room given to us( a three bedded room ) in the hotel was very cramped and not so good . But it was just the night stay. Otherwise it was a perfect well planned trip trip .

Colca Canyon Tour - The tour taken by Maya was an excellent visit to the Colca Canyon. We were a group of 8 some couples & a couple of solo travellers. Maya was brilliant in integrating us from the start by each one giving a brief summary of themselves. It made the group cohesive & inclusive & travelling together for a few days was very enjoyable & sociable. She was also excellent in giving us tips to cope with the altitude. Every part of the tour was on time & closely scheduled without feeling we were rushed. The sights we saw were really amazing & memorable - high elevation points to views of the deepest canyons. Condors to vicuñas. Excellent tour company to go with for a fabulous experience of the wonders of Peru.

Excellent Two Day Colca Canyon Tour - We had an excellent experience with Giardino Tours during our 2 day Colca Canyon trip. Our tour guide, Jessica, was professional, friendly and very attentive to the travellers. She was very helpful, when I felt some discomfort walking uphill in the high altitudes. Jessica was knowledgeable, and provided interesting information throughout the tour. William, our driver, was professional and drove very safely. We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing scenery, vistas, and our stops along the tour. A bonus was seeing the condors on the second day of the tour. Our overnight stay at the Mamayacchi Hotel in Coporaque was very comfortable, and the hotel is situated at a lovely location. We also enjoyed the visit to the Hot Springs in Chivay. Our transfer from Chivay to Puno on the second day went smoothly. We highly recommend Giardino Tours, when planning a visit to Colca Canyon.

Stephanie is the best! - Stephanie was such an amazing tour guide! We did Arequipa, Colca Valley, Colca Canyon, and then all the way to Puno. We had a teen and a Grandma in the group and Stephanie was so patient, letting us go at a little a slower pace when it was possible. For the 3-4 days that she was our guide, she taught us so much, made sure we had great food options, responded to my WhatsApp messages promptly if I had a question at night, and helped find some natural remedies for altitude sickness at markets along the way. Her English was great and she absolutely loves her job and her country! Our driver Guillermo was intrepid and so funny. He drove us on some very windy, scary roads and we felt so safe! He stopped so many times for us to go to the bathroom. Stephanie and Guillermo were one of the best parts of our trip!

Ask for Ramiro! - From start to finish everything was outstanding. Ramiro was our guide and he was excellent. He's super passionate about his country and was happy to answer all our questions. There were 7 of us, so we had what I would consider private tours. Ramiro made sure we arrived at various destinations at the optimum time to avoid crowds as much as possible while getting the most out of each experience. He made sure everything was in good standing the two evenings we checked into our lodging. Highly recommended!

A beautiful walk to an Inca fort overlooking the valley. - We took a walk with the local guide Luzmarie to an Inca fort near Madrigal. The forteza El chimpa. A beautiful walk that was also very pleasant because Luzmarie knew a lot about the area and took good care of us. We tasted cactus fruits along the way and saw a lot of condors. A good preparation for the inca trail, and a unique experience because many people run straight to the standard viewpoint.

Colca Canyon Plus - Giardino Tour organised our Peru trip impeccably. Carmen Rosa was extremely helpful and attentive. From arrival and pick up in Arequipa to city tour, 2 day trip to Colca Canyon trip and transport to Puno to connect with the Titicaca Train, everything was arranged with precision and care. All the hotel options along the way were very reasonable with quality accommodation and services. We particularly liked the KATARI Hotel at the main square in Arequipa and the Colca Lodge and its hot springs. Cusco accommodation was hard to come by as we were there around the Holy Week and the Labour Day, however, Carmen Rosa managed to get us convenient, good rooms at reasonable prices at The Andina Plaza Hotel. All pick ups and transfers were done with professional guides and drivers. Special mention to Bryan for our Arequipa and Canyon trip. His excellent knowledge and humour made him very good company indeed. Driver - Diego was extremely helpful and careful with his driving, which was much appreciated in view of the quality of some of the road surfaces. Carmen Rosa even organised all of our domestic flights as a complimentary service and had checked in for us and sent our Boarding Passes to us via WhatsApp - way beyond the duty of care. Carmen Rosa has been very patient and thoughtful in her approach in helping us to organise the trip. I would recommend using Giardino Tours wholeheartedly for your Peru travels.

The countries most beloved bird. - On route Stephanie explained us the history and the live of the condor. While there the timing was perfect as a young condor was showing himself on a rock. That combined with the stunning view. Well worth the visit.
