Fun and informative food tour - Karla was our guide and we had an informative time going thru the Mercado and learning about all the sections that make up the market. We were served local dishes at a few restaurants and had a scenic walk to a restaurant where has a demo making a chili sauce using a the Batán, one of the most emblematic pre-Hispanic tools of Peruvian cuisine. Fun experience!

A wonderful tasty time - Carla was awesome. From the food and drink choices to the history and most importantly how easily the whole tour flowed. Would recommend this as a great was to taste and experience Arequipa

Would recommend to anyone visiting Arequipa. - Tour was a good mix of history, culture, and of experiencing traditional food. Karla was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and very personable. Speaks English fluently too. It was such good experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting Arequipa.

Let Karla show you the beauty of Arequipa - We went on the Gastronomic Tour with Karla today…. She was amazing!!!! Her English was flawless, her knowledge and love of Arequipa was boundless…. Her personality was a breath of fresh air! We had a wonderful afternoon learning, eating and experiencing all the terrific places in Arequipa and all its history. We recommend her 100%👍👍👍

Journey thur Peruvian taste - Amazing experience. Karla was showing us plenty of hidden gems to taste. We had 5 different dishes to taste and manage to explore the city. Definitely recommend. Even with small kids 7 and 10.

Amazing experience with Karla, an outstanding guide! - Karla, our charming guide, shared a wealth of information about Arequipa's food, customs and history in the market and the restaurants we visited. She really took time to get to know us and was very caring of our needs. Each stop of the tour was carefully thought out to maximize the experience. Karla's loving pride in Arequipa's culture and traditions shone through the entire tour and added to our enjoyment. Not to be missed!

Amazing day in Arequipa - We had an amazing time with Karla on our tour in Arequipa! The day started with a vibrant visit to the local market, where Karla introduced us to unique Peruvian ingredients and local specialties. Her knowledge and passion made the experience unforgettable.
We then strolled through the charming streets of Arequipa, stopping at several restaurants to taste authentic dishes like rocoto relleno. Each stop was carefully curated, and Karla ensured we understood the cultural significance behind the flavors.
The walking portions were delightful, offering beautiful views of the city while we digested between tastings. Karla’s warm personality and attention to detail made the tour feel personal and special.
