• Chiguata - Following the descent, the biking journey continues through the picturesque Chiguata countryside, a delightful district in Arequipa. Here, one can admire pre-Inca agricultural terraces and observe farm animals such as cows, donkeys, sheep, horses, and alpacas. The town square, featuring a stunning colonial church constructed from volcanic stone, is a highlight. This serene location offers a perfect spot to pause for a meal and some relaxation. The countryside terrain is primarily dirt with some uneven areas, requiring uphill pedaling in certain sections. However, the inclines are gentle and manageable. If fatigue sets in, participants can opt to ride in the transport vehicle until reaching the paved section. The final stretch is paved, leading from the town square to the river, where the biking tour concludes. Bicycles are then loaded onto a 4x4 vehicle for the return trip to Arequipa.
