Arbaminch - Jinka
Jinka - Start the morning with breakfast before driving to Jinka, located 270 km from Arba Minch. Enjoy lunch in Konso, then proceed to Jinka to check into a resort. Visit the Jinka museum and the nearby Ari village. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at the resort.
Excursion to Mursi village and drive to Turmi
Jinka - After breakfast, travel 55 km to the Mursi tribe village, known for their distinctive culture, including women who wear large clay plates in their lower lips. Return to Jinka for lunch.
Turmi - Post-lunch, drive 142 km to Turmi, stopping at an intriguing village along the way. Arrive in Turmi by early evening, check into a lodge, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Excursion to Omorate to visit Dassench & Hammer village
Turmi - Return to Turmi for lunch, then walk to the non-touristic Hammer Village to discover the Hammer tribes, famous for their elaborate hairstyles and body painting using clay and vegetable pigments to create stunning patterns. Attend the bull jumping ceremony if available. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Drive back to Arba Minch
Konso - After breakfast, drive 280 km to Arba Minch, stopping to visit the Konso village, celebrated for their colorful costumes, impressive land terracing, now a UNESCO World Heritage site, and engraved wooden statues as grave markers.
Boat trip on Lake Chamo & flight back to Addis Ababa
Chamo Lake - After breakfast, enjoy a boat trip on Lake Chamo to see large crocodiles, hippos, and diverse birdlife. After a leisurely lunch, a short flight will return you to Addis Ababa. Arrive in the late afternoon and shop for souvenirs.
Conclude with a farewell dinner at an Ethiopian traditional restaurant, savoring local food and drinks with folk dance. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Bole International Airport for your return journey home.
