Pleasant Tour through Yanaka - Plus beer! - Our tour guide, Aya, was great! I loved this tour. It’s perfect for someone who likes strolling through neighborhoods while learning about the history and culture of the area. There were only four of us, so Aya was able to customize it to a certain degree, to our interests. One highlight for me was the Yanaka Beer Hall. It was a place I had wanted to go, but was a little intimidated by. Being a foreigner and wanting to always make sure I’m being respectful, I wanted to make sure I did everything “right” and in a small space that is more noticeable. It was the perfect small brewery and the staff was super approachable. I’m so glad it was part of the tour. I can’t wait to go back! This tour is on the long side, but you know that going in. That being said, I suggest bringing a snack and some water.

A must for off the beaten path - The tour was excellent. Provided much needed context to and contrast with Tokyo center. The guide was highly knowledgeable, very friendly, and spoke excellent English. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see more than just your "average" Tokyo.

Simpler charming Tokyo with religion and folk stories - A lovely walk through a more residential and quieter part of Tokyo with stops to several Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines with history and stories along the way. Well paced and informative of a Tokyo most tourists don't try a chance to see. Paulina was fantastic and shared so much of her experience and folk stories!
