Worth a visit - Wildlife Wonders is a wildlife sanctuary located in a scenic area not far from Apollo Bay. They operate on guided tour model; their goal is to provide a predator-free enclosed conservation area for native animals. Animals are able to roam freely and did not exhibit any fear of our group as we walked through the area. Note that this is not a zoo - animals are not confined, so there are no guarantees as to what animals will be visible during your visit. That being said, we were able to see kangaroos, potoroos, koalas, and emus. The tour lasts 75 minutes, and each person on the tour is provided with a set of binoculars and an earpiece which makes it easier to hear the guide.

A great wildlife experience! - A lovely tour around the wildlife reserve. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and pointed out a lot of animals that we would have missed without her! The koalas were sleeping at the tops of the trees, but a lot of other animals were around, so it was really worth doing.

We can’t recommend this experience highly enough! - We had a wonderful time. Our guide Elena was excellent. The enclosure is huge and the animals were in their natural environment. We saw so many species. It was one of our highlights of our time on the Great Ocean Road.

Wonderful indeed! - Had a great time, staff really friendly and arranged a shorter tour for me as I have limited mobility. Cherish, our guide, was very informative and told us lots of interesting information about the various animals we saw.

Must visit walk in the wild! - We found the Wildlife Wonders tour by chance as we returned from Cape Otway. A wonderful small wildlife centre with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. The site whilst billed as wild, is sensitively enclosed but still providing a taste of the bush for visitors. Provision for hearing and seeing local flora and fauna is good and allows the guide to quickly lead a team of varied and interested tourists of all ages and nationalities. Worth visiting - small Coffee shop and clean loos are plus points too.
