Awesome experience - I'm 59 and love hiking and scrambling but have never been rock climbing before. I did the beginners half day course and it was without doubt one of the best experiences of my life. The location is truly spectacular and the rock climbing was much more challenging than I had expected which made the experience even more rewarding. The guys from Real Rocks were superb and gave excellent instructions and I always felt safe on the rock face. Organisation was excellent, first being picked up from my hotel in Ao Nang, then driven to their place to get kitted out with shoes/harness/helmet and then long tail boat to Phra Nang beach. I wish I had done this 30-40 years ago but even if you're getting on a bit like me, I would still highly recommend this as long as you have a reasonable level of fitness and strength

This was so much fun!... - This was so much fun! Guides were friendly and helpful. The beach we climbed at was beautiful, but got crowded quickly. Nevertheless, each of us was still able to get a good amount of climbing time in. Would definitely recommend!

Great experience - If you are looking for something physically challenging and exciting, this activity is highly recommended. In our family, we had varying levels of climbing experience. The guides accommodated us all and made this special. I specially want to thank the folks. I made a mistake with date while booking the event. I was contacted on WhatsApp and when I explained my mistake and requested a date change, they made it happen.

Great experience!... - Great experience! Definitely recommend. The guides are very kind and helpful. Seemed most of the people doing it had some experience climbing. Might be a bit difficult if you have never gone before. They bring you to a beautiful cove in Railay. If I would have planned better I would have prepared and stayed for the second half of the day on railay beach and arrange my own boat back. 10/10 recommend

Great experience at a beautiful place!!! - We had a great time rock climbing with them. I accidentally picked wrong date for the event but they were kind and flexible and changed the date even though it was past the allowed cancellation time. One is our family had indoor climbing experience and a couple of us had very limited indoor climbing practice and one had almost no experience. The guides were encouraging and accommodating all skill levels of the climbers. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent experience for beginners and seasoned climbers - Incredible experience. Our guide was an excellent instructor - very knowledgeable and a ton of fun. He was able to work with the varying abilities in our group and accommodated my husband who never seemed to run out of strength nor energy! Highly recommend Real Rocks Climbing.

Very professional rock climbing company, recommended! - Excellent trip. The operator communicated very well with pickup instructions and sent me a text on WhatsApp on the day. The instructors were very friendly and I felt completely safe. They provided the rock climbing shoes, harness, helmet and water throughout the day. As someone who has never done outdoor rock climbing this was a brilliant first experience and I would definitely come again. Highly recommend! Thank you!!

Gorgeous & Fun - Communication was great by WhatsApp, Pickup was punctual. The long boat ride was fun. The equipment was of good quality. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. They would use a laser pointer to help you find hand or foot holds. They provide water, but make sure to pack your own snacks. It burns a lot of calories climbing. They take photos/video with your camera.

Fun "learn by doing" introduction to climbing - Generally smooth, fun experience for my first time rock climbing! Pros: The instructors were very kind and the location was stunning. There was plenty of time and available instructors to climb with. Fun sightings of monitor lizards and monkeys. Cons: I wish there had been instruction and/or practice before belaying up high. We arrived at the beach as a big group, and immediately went up on the wall, 1-3 people at a time. It was nerve wracking going up with zero tips (e.g. how to use the chalk, how to belay down?), in front of an audience. It was also impossible to find an open bathroom near the cliffs, which was tough for a 7am - 12pm experience.

Adrenaline rush and amazing views but no training or tips for an absolute beginner - Pickup and drop off in time, all good. Amazing views on Railay Beach. For an absolute beginner this was really a tour to see, how the others climb. All instructors were really friendly and very relaxed, but they didn't provide us with instructions or tips in advance (e.g. how to use your legs, feet and hands, how to belay down etc.). I would say this is not for absolute beginners, however I really enjoyed trying and watching others to climb. Also I loved the views.
