Great way to travel from krabi to phuket - Pick up was great. Exactly as advertised. Comfortable and organized. Not handicapped assessable for those who might need it. If you have kids, you’ll want to be vigilant. Drop off was also great. Would do it again no question.

Great way to get to Phuket - Very seamless journey. Great communication no complaints at all and by far the best way to get to and from Krabi from Phuket. However do not bring too much baggage or expect help..not a problem for me but can see how some travellers struggled

Aging ferry but got the job done - Ao Nang Princess boat is definitely an aging ferry. The old aeroplane seats that have been used are a bit broken (many are stuck in the reclined position), and generally the ferry seems a bit beat up. But we got to Ao Nang in the 1hr 50min that they told us it would take. I found the staff/crew to be friendly. At the port when you arrive just look for the sign for Ao Nang and the check-in process is pretty easy and quick so you don't really need to arrive more than 15min before departure I would say. There is some food and drink available on the ferry and at the pier. We booked this through a local agent and price included pick-up and drop off at hotels at both ends of the trip for eighteen hundred baht (two people). You WILL HAVE TO CARRY YOUR LUGGAGE ACROSS ABOUT 3 FERRIES TO LOAD AND UNLOAD. It would be a great improvement if there was a nicer way to get on and off the ferry to the pier.

We were supposed to be... - We were supposed to be picked up between 0900 and 0930 but no one showed up. Tried to get hold of someone for assistance but decided we should hire our own ride due to time constraints. Around 0945 we received a ride and later we're contacted and advised the tour operator was running late and should be at the hotel around 0955. Too much anxiety waiting for ride to make it to ferry on time.

Way to many people and... - Way to many people and luggage in the truck during pick up Also they wanted us to pay an extra 1000 bath for the drop off at our hotel. We refuse and got drop off at the closest hotel for free wich was a 3 minutes walk... 1000 bath for someting that could be walked in 3 minutes...

Nightmare Ferry Transfer from Ao Nang to Phuket - Avoid at All Costs! - This ferry transfer from Ao Nang to Phuket was an absolute disaster! It was poorly organized from start to finish and ended up taking hours longer than advertised. Here's the breakdown of this travel nightmare: Pick-up Chaos: My pick-up window was between 2pm and 2:30pm. I waited patiently, bags packed, until 2:45pm before they finally arrived. Not a great way to start the journey. Disorganized Departure: Once at the ferry jetty, the process was chaotic. It took ages to get everyone sorted, and the boat ended up leaving a full 45 minutes behind schedule. Extended Journey: The ferry trip itself took much longer than advertised, meaning we didn't arrive in Phuket Old Town until 7:30pm – already several hours behind schedule. Minivan Mishap: Arriving in Phuket, the promised hotel transfer fell apart. The tour company didn't have minivans for a direct transfer, so they crammed us all onto a large bus. This bus then proceeded to completely bypass my hotel and take us on a scenic (and entirely unnecessary) 30-minute detour to the other side of the beach and the bus terminal. Double Transfer: Finally, at the bus terminal, they shuffled us into another minivan for a "direct" hotel transfer. "Direct" in this case apparently meant another 20-minute drive before I finally reached my hotel – at a staggering 9:40pm! Avoid this company if you value your time and sanity! The entire transfer was poorly managed, took far too long, and left me exhausted and frustrated. Look elsewhere for a ferry transfer from Ao Nang to Phuket – there are definitely better options out there!
