Unmissable tour to Laguna Cejar - Ernesto was an AMAZING guide. Their energy is contagious and they managed to keep our diverse group totally entertained and tidy during this beautiful tour to Laguna Cejar. His explanations were clear and very interesting. I recommend it 100%! If you are looking for a guide who will make you live a unique experience in the lagoon, Ernesto is your person!"

Very well worth it - A very touring experience where you visit 3 lakes with the volcano landscape in the background. The possibility of experiencing the phenomenon of floating in a salty lagoon is also very interesting but the water is cold!!!! The stop in the Eyes of Salar for me is the best! Beautiful pictures. Our guide Ernesto is excellent. A snack was served which was also excellent

Bad weather but still had fun - The trip was nice. It was super windy the day we visited, so we did not really get to see the most beautiful parts of the lagoons, but the guide planned it well so we still had fun.

A great experience with a great guide, Sergio - The tour to Laguna Céjar included a swim in the Laguna de la Piedra and it was magical to float in that salty water (and very dense and... very cold!) and full of those little shrimps that serve as food to the flamingos. We arranged the tour with this agency because Paula offered it to us shortly after we arrived, while walking along Caracoles Street, and it was very resolute and convincing. In fact, we hired a pack of three tours (the Valley of the Moon, Laguna Cejar and the Tatio geysers). Since it was the middle season (August) and there is not so much influx of tourists, it is common practice in San Pedro for agencies to negotiate among themselves and you end up doing the tour with a different agency than the one you have hired. Of the three tours, only the Laguna Cejar was operated by this agency and the truth is that it was the best of all we did. The guide, Sergio, explained everything very well, in detail, describing the flora, fauna, the origin of the lagoons, the volcanic context, the legends with which the Atacameños explain the different volcanoes... In addition, he answered all of our questions, completed the tour with related information that always helps you understand the origin and importance of what you are seeing and experiencing. He took group photos with the eyes of the Cejar and with the Andes in the background, but treated the photo by adding the names of the volcanoes and sent it to us all by whatsapp. Frankly a GUIDE, capital letters. I hope the agency realizes what it has and, above all, that it tries to operate the tours it sells on its own, rather than making agreements with other agencies that disappoint. Thanks, Sergio.

Excellent and Recommended - The contracted tour included transportation, entrance fees, and a sunset cocktail. The place is located within a Nature Reserve and in the morning only allows access to private visitors and in the afternoon (from 15:00 h and 17:00 h) allow access to visitors arriving on tours.
We arrive at 15:00 h and after a walk along a path where the guide explains about the place you visit the Laguna Cejar (where it is forbidden to swim) and then you are taken to the Laguna Piedra where if you allow bathing, although in reality what is allowed and done is to float in the water since it is so high the concentration of salt that allows a person to float in the water without inconvenience. The stay in this lagoon is not more than 30 minutes since it is not advisable or healthy to stay in a lagoon with such a high concentration of salt. After this, we go to the sector of dressing rooms, bathrooms and showers which are very good facilities for the place and for the price of admission (I think $21,000).
Later we were taken to the "Ojos del Salar" which correspond to two small lagoons and in one of them, if there is no wind, you can get photographs with reflection in the water. Here the guide prepares a cocktail which was quite good.
Finally, the guide took us to the Tebenquiche Lagoon sector where we could see the sunset and then return to San Pedro.
It is certainly a very good and recommended tour, and our guide Ernesto was a 7.

Wonderful tour - Great outing not too far from San Pedro de Atacama. Water was refreshing. Couldn't believe how we floated so easily. Great afternoon tea after. Recommend this tour.

Maravilloso - Great experience!
It’s pretty crazy when you enter the lagoon and float effortlessly! Very powerful sun so use a lot of blocker

Great guide and views, but too little time at the Lagoon - Overall, it was a good tour with amazing views and a really friendly guide who spoke English and Spanish and shared lots of interesting facts along the way.
The only minus was the time spent at the lagoon – 20 minutes just isn’t enough, especially considering the price. It felt rushed, and there wasn’t enough time to both take photos and go for a swim. 20 min in water if fine but then it would be nice to have time to take photos so around 1 hour in total in the area would’ve made a big difference.
The sunset snack at the end was a nice touch and a great way to wrap up the day.
