What an AWESOME day! - First I want to express how lovely our tour guide, Pamella, was to be around and learn from. She made the experience well worth the price. Pamella was on time and the vehicle was immaculate. We went to a fantastic lookout point which had an amazing view of Antigua. Pamella was knowledgeable and shared great information about the town, the customs, and the people. I’ve been to Antigua before, but I saw many things that were missed on other tours I’ve taken. Time at the monasteries blew me away. I had no idea how they lived or the history. We had a chance to walk on the roof of Iglesia Merced. We stopped at several hidden restaurants and bakeries we would’ve otherwise missed had we been on our own. We also enjoyed the thorough tour of Guatemala City which gets a bad rap it no longer deserves. The visit through the main shopping area and the city market were my absolute favorite. This tour was about 8 hours and the time went by fast. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. You won’t be sorry you did. Happy Travels ☺️

Awesome tour and a lovely tour guide! - If you are pressed for time, private tour of both Guatemala City and Antigua is a way to go! It was so lovely to learn about the history of both, do some shopping and create wonderful memories. Quick tip: ask your tour guide to start early due to traffic in the morning and also possibly of rain in the evening. My tour started at 9:30 am and it was late because we hit some heavy traffic on our way to Antigua and also it started to rain after our late lunch in Guatemala City

Great fun and friendly experience in Guatemala - My friend Corey and I had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful cities of Antigua and Guatemala City. It was especially awesome because our English speaking tour guide, Esteban Calvillo, who was not only well informed in the the history of Guatemala, but he really enjoyed teaching foreigners on the history as well. Antigua is a traveler's favorite, well known for its cobblestone streets, volcano views, colonial architecture, and also it is the best known preserved Spanish Colonial city in Central America. Absolutely loved it. We also visited some of the main important areas in Guatemala City such as Mercado Central (central market) where we bought some fun handicrafts, blankets, and leather products at very affordable rates. We also visited the Palacio Nacional (National Palace) and took some photos and hung out with some locals. Finally, one of my places we visited was a place called Kaminaljuyu which is the site of the ancient Mayan civilization that dated back to 1500 B.C Thanks Esteban for making this tour very very fun and insightful. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guatemala!

More options on what to see and learn about - The tour guide was great but I wish there were options for the things we got to see. A lot of our tour revolved around the church and I understand that's a big part of the history but I would have rather seen a tour revolved around nature.
