• Copan Ruinas - Departure at 5am from Guatemala to the Honduras border. Our staff will assist with all necessary requirements to cross into Honduras. You will arrive at Copan Ruinas around 11:00. The drive from Guatemala to Honduras is a fantastic experience, passing through three ecosystems with constantly changing vegetation. You’ll see tropical fruit plantations of melons, watermelons, pineapples, and bananas, and we can make stops to taste these sweet and delicious fruits.
• Copan Ruins - The National Park of Copan Ruinas, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an incredible place where you can immerse yourself in the ancient Mayan ruins. The ball court, hieroglyphic stairway, stelae, palaces, and temples are all very well preserved. A local guide will share the rich history with you. Birds are freely flying everywhere.
• Sculpture Museum - After visiting the ruins, a visit to the sculpture museum is included. It features a great collection of pieces, palaces, facades, benches, original stelae, and the amazing Rosalila Temple in the center. Overnight stay at Hotel Camino Maya or a similar accommodation.
• Macaw Mountain Bird Park & Nature Reserve - Visit this beautiful park dedicated to the conservation and breeding of macaws and toucans.
