Excellent Tour and Guide - It was one of the best tours I’ve ever done. We went to 7 different restaurants, and all were very different. The tour guide was so much fun. I loved all of the food.

Fantastic Food Tour! - We had an absolutely wonderful tour with our guide, Jamila. The entire experience was beautifully organized, and the food was varied and delicious. And Jamila knew the history of every place she took us!

Some of the best food I’ve had in a long long time - Each place we went to we got a little history about where we were, the restaurant, city, and the food. It was just our group so it was very personalized and easy to make conversations. Each place the food was amazing, they even helped us get a reservation for later at a place we’d normally stop but was completely full. Absolutely would highly recommend!

Great food tour! - I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Jamilla was knowledgeable and friendly. Our group was fortunate that in addition to Jamilla, we were also accompanied by a cultural tour guide who provided in depth insights of buildings and local customs. I am a vegetarian and Jamilla made sure, prior to starting the tour that all the vendors prepared proper food for me, which I appreciated. We ate at 9 different spots, I wouldn't expect to have a full meal at each location. The food was very good and properly sized for tasting. Towards the end of the tour, pretty much the entire group was already feeling full. I appreciate the information provided by Jamilla on each eatery as that is part of a food tour. I like knowing the stories behind the establishment, it gives it a more personal touch. After the tour, Jamilla sent a map of the places we stopped, should we wish to go back. She also sent several recommendations of places that might interest us. I am glad we did the tour as it definitely was worth it.

Fun, facts, and delicious food - We did the Antigua Foodie Tour in June 2025. Jamila was amazing. We were there during the rainy part of the day during the rainy season, and she came prepared with umbrellas for each of us. She was so knowledgeable about the history of each restaurant we visited, and we really enjoyed learning about the establishments as we waited for our food. She did a fantastic job curating the different stops, and everything was amazing. I'm generally a picky eater, and she made sure to ask about food allergies or ingredients to avoid, which I appreciated. I definitely recommend doing this tour on your first night in Antigua, because you'll want to go back to your favorite spots for a full dinner experience. We ended up returning to Cactus, Glacy, and Aqua the remaining nights of our trip. Also, even though the dishes at each place are smaller, by the end of the tour, we were definitely full and grateful for the walking.

A perfect day 1 tour! - My son and I took the tour with Jamila, and she was so professional and knowledgeable. We loved the locations she took us to! We only wished we would have taken this tour on day one of Antigua so we could have gone back to those places! So take note and do this tour on day 1. We really enjoyed it all and highly recommend Jamila and this tour.

Taste and get to know some places, but the price is unbalanced for what you get. - Good option to taste and get to know some places, but the price is disproportionate for what you get. USD135 per person is too much to this experience. We went to seven different places, and almost everything we tried was good. At the first, (A...) we tried a cucumber salad with shrimp—a good starter! The place is pleasant and has a good view of the city. At the second, (S...) a restaurant, but we were offered a choice of chocolate options; I thought it would be better at the end... The third place, ("El L...") was very interesting because it's inside a sort of hidden courtyard that I probably would never have found on my own. And we tried a delicious "Pão Madre" (Mother Bread) with goat cheese. I recommend it! The fourth stop was at a small Mexican restaurant (C...) where we ate two delicious tacos (the shrimp one was better!) and I tried an excellent margarita. The fifth stop was a visit to (2. A...), where we were served three types of canapés/snacks. These didn't seem very tasty, but that might have been because we were already almost full. The sixth place, (A... Juice), was very small and crowded because it was raining. We were offered a glass of juice (they didn't have the hibiscus one the guide had requested), which was very refreshing. The last stop was at an ice cream shop (G...), whose ice cream didn't seem particularly noteworthy. In the end, the guide didn't return to the starting point as planned, and we went back alone to find the way back.
