This tour will take you up to the base of the “Volcan de Agua” in the indigenous town of Santa Maria de Jesus with an altitude of over 2,070mts above sea level. You will get to visit the local market at the town’s square. As you make your way back down to Antigua, you will stop in the aldea of San Juan del Obispo where we visit the local chocolate…
This tour will take you up to the base of the “Volcan de Agua” in the indigenous town of Santa Maria de Jesus with an altitude of over 2,070mts above sea level. You will get to visit the local market at the town’s square. As you make your way back down to Antigua, you will stop in the aldea of San Juan del Obispo where we visit the local chocolate factory “Chocolate Antigua” and a local wine store “Vinieria Los Lobos” We get to see the chocolate process on the tour of the small chocolate factory and get to taste some samples of their different chocolate flavors.
Our next stop is San Pedro de las Huertas, where we visit a local jade factory and are able to see and learn about making these rocks into fine jewelry. Our next and final stop is the food stop. We visit a local restaurant where we are able to taste local food and some delicious drinks.

Culture dive !! - Estrado was our tour guide and he was amazing! You can tell he cares deeply about the guest on the tours and will make sure we travel throughout Antigua safely!! He also has a personal connection with each location we stopped at; improving the experience for everyone! The chocolate making was so in depth and you even get the chance to partake in some of the practices! You get to learn so much and you get to sample there unique all natural products! Estrado asked if we wanted to eat at the restaurant right across, and you definitely should. There are four traditional plates that were all amazing! There are also an array of other option that sounded really good. Overall 10/10 experience and would definitely do this tour.

A perro bebe leche - the driving part is only done through the city in the streets, there is only a little bit that is done in a dirt road, so do not expect to drive it off road fun with the ATVs this tour is not for that, still nice to drive the ATVs through the city, otherwise there were the tours as in the description: a stop at a small local market, a stop at a Jade stone workshop and a stop at a chocolate factory + a very good local food dinner

Antigua ATV Sunset Tour - We really enjoyed the ATV sunset tour. Estuardo (Estuy) did a great job. We loved the mirador, the view was fantastic. We also really enjoyed Hobbitenago. Thank you Simoon Tours!

Best day in Antigua - Honestly not sure the name of the trip. But Geo was fantastic! Greatest tour guide ever! He was knowledgeable and relatable. Easy to understand. He took us to Hobbitenango. The cross on the mountain. To a private jade Co where they actually were cutting and polishing the stones. An othenic hand made chocolate demonstration and tasting. And a very traditional lunch. Not to mention driving ATVs between all the different places. It was the best day I had in Antigua, Guatamala

Best tour ever - I went to Guatemala for a mission trip and had a few days to explore antigua. Our Tour guide name was Gio. He did a phenomenal job explaining each stop during the tour. We had a blast riding around the city. We visited hobitenango, a local jade shop, a family chocolate making company and the big cross facing Antigua. It was fun riding the atv on the mountains and on the local roads. The tour lasted about 6-7 hours. Bring your comfortable sneakers and be prepared to be amazed. Highly recommended.

Special and Lovely - A very lovely experience. We had Oscar as our guide and he was incredible. Very approachable and also knowledgeable. The chocolate demonstration was very fun and interesting. Impossible not to buy a little bit of chocolate after. In the next town we stopped at the local jade manufacturer and again it was hard to resist buying a souvenir. Ending in Ciudad Vieja felt special, learning about the history of the old city and going into the market. Oscar knew everyone in the market and embraced him (and us) like family. It was a fantastic opportunity to see the towns just outside of Antigua and it overall just felt very special.

A great way to sightsee and ride ATV's in t - It was fun riding ATV's and going to other towns around Antigua. You will be going on cobblestones and dirt roads. Your body shakes a bit. For me it was fun. Our guide treated us to some taste of the local food. It was fun. Wear a face mask for dust.

Great Experience - We had an amazing experience with Simoon Tours and with Gio as our guide. Everyone was so great to work with and flexible with our needs when booking, and Gio was the best guide ever, making sure everyone was safe and together and giving us great information about the places we went. Adventure and adrenaline - It was an amazing experience and 100% recommended thanks to our daril guide that was the best of this tour Thanks to him we lived a unique and personalized experience that we loved was very patient always provided us the best care and supported us giving us good photographic tips as well as providing us information about the history of ancient Guatemala and we liked it quite a lot thank you darin You were an excellent day and we hope another time that you are our day again 100% recommended and we want to repeat it again
