Excellent - Visiting the dolmens and Torcal with a guide is very interesting. The Torcal is a fascinating place and I wish I could have done a real hike there. Natacha, our guide, has given us many relevant explanations and she communicates enthusiastically. They are small groups and this makes the visits all the more pleasant and friendly. We also did the Camino del rey with Visit Antequera. I recommend their excursions.

Well organised and informative tour - Varied tour, including history of early human settlements/ fascinating visits to neolithic sites. Then enjoy an explanation of local geology and natural history when you explore the weird and wonderful rock formations of El Torcal. Need to be able to cope with slightly uneven terrain here.

Fantastic tour of Dolmens and El Torcal from Malaga! - We booked direclty with Visita Antequera for their Dolmens & El Torcal tour with transport from Malaga. Our guide/driver was Justine and she is so knowledgable and fabulous! The tour leaves early from Malaga (8:15am) for good reason! We first visited the 2 main Dolmens — watched the introductory movie at the beautiful museum, before walking up to the Dolmens. Because of our early start, our group of 8 was the only people there at that time. It is such a special place that I think the atmosphere would have been ruined by a crowd. By the time we left, we saw several big tour buses in the parking lot and big groups were walking to the Dolmens. I was just super glad that we got to experience the place in relative peace and quiet. We then visited the 3rd Dolmen (El Romeral) — again, our group was the only people there — before visiting El Torcal. We lucked out with the weather that day, as El Torcal is known to be windy and foggy. We had beautiful weather and Justine led us on a short hike to the view point. Do note that this is a hike in a rocky area, so make sure you have sturdy shoes (hiking shoes recommended), and it's not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The view is incredible, and Justine also pointed out the ammonite fossils in the rock. After the hike, we got back into the van and had a second stop, with a short walk to view "the screw" - the famous rock formation. Finally we returned to Antequera and were given the option of being dropped off at the top of the town or by the bus station. All 8 of us opted for the top of the town, which is near the Alcazaba. Each of us were given bus tickets to return to Malaga and the bus schedule. While our tour ended at 1:30pm, we stayed in Antequera for a couple extra hours (lunch, Alcazaba, Antequera museum - free & I highly recommend) before we took the 5:15pm bus home. Before we left for our trip, I had tried looking into visiting Antequera on our own from Malaga. But the logistics of visiting the Dolmens is tricky because they lie outside of town, and forget about visiting El Torcal unless you rent a car and drive yourselves. The road up to El Torcal is quite windy, so I'm happy to have someone else drive us and provided us with lots of background and knowledge of the history and geology of the land. Lastly, I would recommend taking this tour on a weekday, as the bus back to Malaga runs more frequently on weekdays than on weekends.

Highly recommended guided tour - Everything perfect and that the weather did not accompany part of the visit, raining a little and with some fog in El Torcal. Justine, the guide of this visit, explained very well what we were seeing. As the group was small (8 people) it allowed him to answer the questions we asked. Besides, there was always time to look quietly at each place. We can only thank you for your work and recommend this activity for the good time we had.

Visit to Torcal and Dolmenes de Antequera. - It has been a visit to Torcal and the Dolmenes de Antequera second to none. Our French guide, an extraordinary guide, pity that I do not remember her name, has transmitted her knowledge and her love to art and nature in an exciting way what we have loved. I can only recommend this visit.
